May I ask Cymsdale, what video are you up to?
Although only 3 vids in ... I will compare T4rget's style to Imperial Jedi. Both are excellent teachers.
As stated earlier, I did not think T4rget's series would be for me. How wrong I was. His pace seems a little more dialed back compared to Imperial Jedi. Although T4rget's does a few time lapse segments through his videos, he is excellent in showing/detailing exactly what it is that he just did. I think it is the same for the 'off camera' segments as well. As good as Imperial Jedi is, the 'off camera' work left out too much detail for my capacity/experience.
The focus on pedestrian access is something I really love.
Whilst Imperial Jedi likes symmetry and nice rounded curves, I have learned so much more in only 3 videos when it comes to the use of nodes and how to manipulate them. T4rget's use of node manipulation to curve and snap to is so frequent and well shown that I am no longer struggling with that concept.
The slow expansion and detail along the way regarding budget adjustments and so forth another bonus. Between 3X speed boost you also get a review with nothing left out.
The RCI demand is fostered all the way through as to each little need for individual services and careful placement.
Like I said ... I am only 3 vids in and yet the list goes on. This series is 'exactly'what I was looking for. I simply had not reviewed the guy in full when you linked.

My method of following the tutorial as I did with imperial Jedi:
... is to download the eps as I do them. I download in HD and with 60fps it's very easy to follow using a video player like Media Player Classic where I can snap to pause and either reverse ofr forward frame by frame. This helps me see exactly how many tiles past the typical 10 mark. On the score I have noticed that T4rget's thinks ahead leaving extra space for road and pathway upgrades. (Something I can appreciate fully) He even talks about why he is leaving extra tiles in a space as he does it.
I am using a multi monitor setup with my Asus Republic Gamers Laptop. I find disabling mouse scroll in Cities: Skyline In-Game Options very helpful in switching between The Game itself and the Tutorial video where I am constantly pausing and playing. I am so used to it now I don't even seem to notice where it feels I am just watching the tutorial as normal ... yet I am laying the roads and zoning tile by tile. LOL ... I laugh to think of how pedantic that must sound. Fact is ... once you get used to it ... it's not so hard. The only thing that frustrated my somewhat with other Youtube presenters is when the really important info was left out between speed boosts and off camera work ... as well as incomplete series. I mean when your following tile by tile. hehe.
Anywayssssss ... I best get some sleep. Is good to finally have a tutor that covers it all!
Please do let me know how your city build is going ... if in fact your building the city as he is showing???? ... Or just watching the vids?
