I am looking for descriptions (especially people/ethnicity,city,customs/culture,religion... rather than landscape / climate)
1. pre-Islamic (historian, explorer ...) (if possible from late antiquity) of the Berbers and Copts/Egyptian (of the period when they where partly or mainly Christian) from North Africa
2. description of North Africa (especially) of the Muslim era before the renaissance or the 15/16 century comes from non-North African/Middle Eastern authors
3.the same as 2 but of a Chinese/asian historian,explorer...
4. seeks sources of explorer /historian about pre-Abbasid Arab-Muslims (Umayyads,Rashidun Caliphate...)
