Greetings.

I'll get right to the point; after 900 hours of playing this game solo, i am bored. At this point, i can basically do whatever i want against the AI, whenever i want. Lately i find myself loading up the game only to get to the country selection screen and ask myself "ok, whats the point? you already know that all of your plans will go off without a hitch and you will basically be like a UFC fighter beating up 5 year old girls"

It's lost a lot of the fun, so i need a good group of guys to play with.

I am in my late 20's and very easy going. I am reliable and i take my obligations seriously, i don't flake out. I'm looking for something more deliberate and slow paced, not single session complete campaigns.

I think i could be a decent asset, and i would really like to breathe some new life into my HoI4 experience. I can get Discord if i have to, that seems to be the standard for this game.

Respond here or message me, it matters not. Look forward to hearing from anyone! I'd like to join a group that already has at least 3 or 4 people, ideally 5, so i can be the 6th. 3v3 would be fun, 2v2v2 would be even better!

My schedule availability is as wide open as it gets, and i am on Eastern Standard Time. I am hardcore about my games, so staying up late or waking up early is not a problem for me at all, especially if its only once or twice a week.

I sincerely wish you luck in finding the right group that fits your schedule. In my opinion, a slow paced MP group turns what is currently a below average strategy game, single player, into an excellent one.

You may find it helpful to give a bit of detail on your schedule availability. I think it is likely typical that such groups meet once a week for sessions ranging from 4-6 hours each. You may also find it helpful to register your copy of the game by linking your Steam and Paradox accounts. This would give you access to the MP section of the forum which is otherwise hidden to you.

cheers

Have you ever done a three way faction game? Like 2 allies, 2 axis, 2 comintern? Or a game where the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, and the Soviet Union all lead their own respective faction? That 2nd idea would be very interesting to say the least. Not necessarily pitching these as ideas to play, just making conversation.

But the more i think about that 2nd idea, the more i like it, lol.

I have mostly been involved in fairly historical games with the players split into two teams. This has the advantage of being able to set up a reasonably balanced scenario. IMO, your other ideas while interesting would be more likely to degenerate instead of becoming a long and challenging conflict for all involved. I could always be wrong of course. That has been known to happen. :)
