I really don't get sectors in 2.2.
I really like the new economy system, but to me it seems that sectors can't handle it, which seems a bit weird. I don't get the "Stockpile" feature (is that a bunch of resources I give them they can use? Is it a limit on how many resources they can borrow from the main stockpile? Also, why can't I know how many of them are minerals and how many energy credits?).
Governors are another big question mark. I own 22 planets in 8 sectors. Each one of these sectors has a governor. 6 of these sectors also have a focus, so I assume they should be self-managing (or almost). But I have come to the point where most of the planets in those sectors have high overcrowding, unemployment, not-upgraded planetary capitals and blockers not being cleared up (when they're limiting development).
Am I doing something wrong? Did I not get the scope of sectors or is this a common problem?

Attached there is a screenshot of my sectors screen.
Also, please forgive me for my bad english - it's not my mother tongue.

I have the same issues as OP. I don't get the Stockpile feature and my Governors don't do their job right. I additionally don't get how I set a focus for a hole sectro with widly different planets. Some planets should produce food other minerals. I don't care about which sector they are in

Hi you all

Honestly I like the sector display. Unfortunately it can't be used with any sector colapsed because you would't know of any alerts - like insufucient housing or available building slots.

Fortunately there is an easy fix to this - if the devs are willing to consider my suggestion.

Just add a colored exclamation mark near the number of planets in the sector tab whenever there is an alert on any planet on that sector. The colour should be wellow or red since these are the colours used for the planets.

Pardon any mistakes - I'm portuguese not english...

Thanks for reading

If you're like me and you actually used sectors in le guin, then you're just shirt-out-of-luck, my friend.

Sectors are broken beyond belief right now, both in design and functionality. The game has become a nightmare for people who don't like to manage every single planet manually.
