Im having trouble figuring out how to remove a sector and add the current planet to my core worlds. I believe I now have enough administrative capacity to do so. Can someone explain how to turn a sector world into a core world.

There is no longer a meaningful difference between sector worlds and core worlds- the administrative capacity and sprawl penalties take ALL your territory/worlds into account, not just your core sector.

Yeah the new sector system has completely bamboozled me too, how do you even add planets into sectors now? I have about eight planets and they all have separate governors except two who have the same governor yet I can't see what connects those two planets together as they are in completely different star systems -very confusing.

You don't add or remove planets. Sectors are created automatically, but no longer take a resource tax or control anything (unless you tick the right box).

We all do.
I really wish there was an option to delete that 1 planet sector and add it manually to one of other.

It is almost funny.
I can manage with almost all changes, it is different, but in the end some things are less value, and some others are better to do. If i have problem, AI also have it.

But sector creation... it is not something to get used to, since cant interact with it. Just auto fill.

iirc theyre created by colonizing a planet further away than 3 hyperlane jumps from the previous sector, and include everything two hyperlane jumps from the new "sector core planet".

The sectors spread 2 lane jumps from the first Colony you found in that area. So, be mindful of which planet you colonize first so you can include as many planets in that particular sector.
