Sarcasm? Because you could just press PrtScn, go to http://snag.gy/, press Ctrl+V, crop if necessary. It bothers me because taking picture of monitor with your smart phone is really unprofessional and you can just do it with three presses, it will take less time and effort and will result much higher quality images.
Or you could just install a programm like "shareX" (available on steam too), configurate it correctly (choose upload provider) and just press 1button and it'll upload the screen (or a part of the screen) directly and put the link in your clipboard :)

This is turning out to be probably the best expansion/patch since at least 1.8 (that was Art of War, right?), at least in the top 3.

The map changes in AoW were pretty drastic so I don't know if its at the top. But yeah, the addition of internal politics** will defiantly change gameplay [again].

I would predict they'll release it at the 20$ point [instead of 15$] in December [not to conflict with CK2 in January?].
Not only that, but with the new RNW more people will want to pick up CoP.

**even if some think its 'watered down' and not Vicky level enough.

The New World is one continent now? Is this the end of native CNs?

1. It is a RANDOM new world [in case it wasn't clear enough].
2. Besides, in the screenshots posted you can see 2 big land masses in the new world.
3. But yes, there will be cases of a huge Pangaea style continents.
4. Even in that case, you might meet an advanced native civilization [or they might come for you first].
5. RNW generation parameters were said to be added as the work progresses [you can seed your own version of the new world].

EDIT: NVM, just got what you mean. Were there even cases of native CNs?

If a native country in North America has unconnected territory in South America, or vice versa, a Colonial nation will form, the only way to stop it is to have it connected to the capital provence before the CN formed. As such, if a player does not understand the mechanics (that North and South America are separate continents) it can happen and be rather frustrating for them. That said I don't think that I have ever seen the AI do that so it is more or less a minor problem. For me anyways, might be different for someone else.

Ok then... I thought he wasn't satisfied with the way I cropped the pics to focus solely on the changes instead of posting the whole screenshot.

You do realize there is no magic 'enhance' button like you see on TV, right? And that the quality** of the pics can only be as good as the source itself?
Which, for example, if you do a stream and you squeeze a feed of the desktop to allow enough place for a not too small camera feed of yourself streaming can make details seem a bit unfocused. One would think you would have the courtesy to check the stream itself before posting useless stuff.

**mind you, while photo manipulation can make certain details look clearer it will degrade the baseline quality.

Why would I have such courtesy when I can enjoy the respectful dislikes? ;)

Seriously, my bad... I refused to believe they would stream with such low quality.

To be honest I don't think it was because of the streaming itself.
For some reason instead of displaying the game on full screen they squeezed it into a smaller window [not sure, but might be the cause since the commentary window looked ok].

So, razing a province as a horde, lowering each development value with 1, gave 25/25/25 monarch points?

If I raze high development provinces this is 25 times x times 3 total gained monarch points? That sounds like a lot.

Hordes are already in an area where its hilariously easy to blob..

I think hordes will get seriously OP in patch 1.14, if you stay at 5 admin tech forever, release vassals after full annex, and only tech up military..

But we'll see I guess :)

Did they say anything about 1.14 release date?

The numbers can still change till release date.

Nothing official, but if I had to take an educated guess:
1. taking into account they have another expansion in the works for CK2 which they originally wanted to release this year;
2. the EU4 expansion is further along the development cycle compared to the CK2 expansion given the amount of information they are willing to give about each project.
3. and they'll want to avoid concurrent release to maximize revenue;

I'd say we are looking at a December release for EU4 expansion and a January release for CK2 expansion.

Hordes could be very scary. Instead of their units gradually becoming obsolete, by repeatedly razing lands and using military national focus, it looks like they will be able to tech *faster* than Muslim/Indian/Chinese tech countries, and their units will keep getting upgrades. Also, the weak hordes will quickly lose out to strong hordes, so massive horde blobs are likely to emerge even under AI control. On balance, I'd still prefer to be Western in the long run, but it sounds like if you are strong and immediate Westernisation is not on the cards, Horde life is a much better medium-term plan than being stuck in Asian-tech monarchy.
