So it looks from the screen that you are playing as the US and the sliders are for the the Soviet Union. But why are you able to click on the sliders of a different country and change them? It certainly appears that some of the plus/minus buttons are clickable and others aren't (different colors).

I think its the same reason he have 99999 resources..... for testing purposes (or... you are asking the country to change its policies? Hardly)

And this interface is just suberb, hopes it get better (specially micromanagement Johan, please an option of "upgrade all IC below X" and a better deployment screen, with an option of selecting all units you want with shift and control!)

And btw, this is a minor detail, but the flags look pretty neat as well....though the main US one is in a slightly strange position.

But those 3 are special main alliances. (And its very convenient to have them as "sort-buttons")

How about another sort button to contain everyone in a minor alliance then? Or a way to filter the big 3 alliances out of the All nations list? Currently it looks like you'd have to sort through every country when looking for a small alliance.

Ah, but this time it's the people that have it wrong who are complaining. Way to go Paradox. I wonder if the canadian flag will also be displayed properly. I think someone actually made a mod with all the flags that are supposed to be displayed like that.

Well, I'm not really complaining, it was only a curious remark, since it's absolutely irrelevant for gameplay and I didn't remember the previous discussions.

I just find that it's a very...."unique" way to display the flag in-game (different from almost all other in-game flags, if memory serves) even if it's the "correct" way in real life.

But well, whatever makes people happy is fine...personally, I truly don't mind either way.

Personally, I would rather the US flag be brought into line with the other flags (top left of the flag on the top-right of the image) for various reasons that I outlined when this debate was raging in the Victoria General Discussions forum.

IMHO, these are not standard flags and do not need to follow standard flag protocol (US flag rules state a lot of other things, like you can't wear the flag, or put it anywhere on your car except certain places). In contrast, to flip all the flags would waste graphic artists' time and would introduce a whole new set of problems. Better not to think of the flags as "hanging flags" but rather as rotated images on a screen.

Another example off the top of my head, there are actually some countries like Saudi Arabia that ban the use of their flag in a hanging manner.

Sharp eyes! Yes it is a 50-star flag, but the other flag has the correct 48 stars.
