Very nice! And a somewhat expanded diplomacy section is good. I especially like the non-agression pacts, but wonder how they will actually work.
And a small correction: Please, Johan, please don't call it regulated market vs. free market. Call it planned economy vs. free market, alright? Thanks...
Axis, Allies and Komitern. So only 3 alliances again? If so, that's a big disappointment...please tell it's possible to form 'minor' alliances, and these are only the 'major' alliances!!!

I wonder what the sorting is on that country list. Relations? Maybe some way of choosing what sorting to use would be appropriate. (name and relations, maybe)
And yes, I suppose the font could do with slight changes. Making it bigger, for one.
Also, maybe the knowledge of other countries' policies could be a bit shadier.
I just looked more closely at the background. It's not only the recruitment poster, it also includes the Iwo Jima flag raising and the USAAF insignia. Purty.
So it looks from the screen that you are playing as the US and the sliders are for the the Soviet Union. But why are you able to click on the sliders of a different country and change them? It certainly appears that some of the plus/minus buttons are clickable and others aren't (different colors).
Though the buttons that are active (yellowish) don't really seem to fit with anything. E.g. it looks like you can try to make them more anti-democratic even though the slider is all the way towards that end. And both buttons for politcal left - political right are active despite the slider being all the way to the left.
