We had to remove the search function a long time ago because it put too much strain on our server. This is a very large forum, and we are a rather small company, so it had to be done. It is still possible to search the forum though. This example is from sneezinglion:

Open a browser. Go to www.google.com.
Put this as your first search term: "site:forum.paradoxplaza.com" then put in your search terms.

For instance to find an AAR for HOI2: Doomsday that mentions Bhutan click here: google search example

Also, PackMan made a paradox search engine in google that searches the forums and a few other relevant sites:

This one by Scryder searches just the forum:

More tips from sneezinglion:

*Add date to restrict your search. (*-04-2007)
Example: site:forum.paradoxplaza.com EU3 regimental camp (*-03-2007)

*Use the - sign to remove results you don't want. Example:
site:forum.paradoxplaza.com EU3 ming japan -doomsday

A tip from deviataz:

site:forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/ "Europa Universalis III" intitle:"provinces OR buy"

Red: what site to search
DarkOrange: search EUIII forums
YellowGreen: page title, search for provinces or by in-page title, could also use AND

Using google will not show you the restricted subforums of course, but I hope this will help when you need to search outside of those.

The search function is now on for forums you have registered games in.
This should help you search in the relevant tech support forum as well.

If this puts too much strain on the server, we will have to remove it again though, but it seems to work so far.
