Seaborne Invasions

Still playing USA and am looking at invading a number of territories. When I plan my invasions, I keep getting either no forces selected or no naval supremacy. I think I know how to alleviate the naval supremacy issue although any hints would be most welcome, but the forces selected alert is a problem. How can I not have forces selected when by default I selected a force to do the invasion and then clicked on the invasion portion of the planning? Thanks for all the help.

Make sure the units you're trying to assign to a naval invasion order isn't already assigned to another frontline or fallback line. You can unassign them by pressing ctrl + h and identify them by red exclamation mark.

There is a limit of how many total divisions you can assign to ALL of your naval invasions at one time. The starting (1936) limit is 10. To increase that limit, there are transport techs that increase the limit that you need to research. This could cause your 'no forces selected' message.
