I think this is the most important change in the patch:
  • Tanks' hull & turret rotation's speeds tweaked to model them better. (Panzer IV J, Panther D and Wolverine had very slow turret rotation speed)

I don't know the scope of this change yet, but this is absolutely huge for all armored engagements, AT gun play, AT hunter-killer squads, and stops tanks from instantly turning and killing people.

How does faster turret speeds lead to less instant kills?

They are not faster but slower. Tanks would turn almost instantly making you fire at the front armour regardless of your positioning. For Ex. a 2 star Panther with bonus to ROF and aimtime would kill any tank trying to surprise it making flanking all but useless(it would 180 and kill a tank trying to get a rear shot before said tank could fire).

If this change really only affects the PIV J/Panther D then I dont see it making much of a difference overall especially if they still have huge vet.

It isn't clear, but the change is a nerf to those tanks- they had very slow turret rotation in reality.

My bad. I read the changelog wrong. Thought they buffed the turn speed.

Nice additions. Interesting changes.

Kind of sad that 91. LL was mostly omitted here, because i doubt better 20mm AA will make it good all of a sudden, while its Phase A Multirole got nerfed.

How does HEAT work in game? Automatic penetration if below HEAT value?

Quick play???i search more of 10 minutes in 3vs3 search and not mach the game...wtf...

Well... I would first like to know how it works? Does it just fill you into a gap or does it look at your RANK / ELO??? And if RANKED is still there - grayed out - what differentiates the two??

Could we have some clarification?
