Cool grognard mode :)
Mmm, I wonder what do the symbols on the two czeck provinces and in Strassbourg mean...

Substantive comments:

1) It seems like an early remilitarization of the Rhineland has occurred. :)
2) If German industrial capacity is 100, than 86 seems a bit high for Italy.
3) Do the numbers in the non-grognard version represent the number of division size units?
4) I notices there are different colours for ports. So there probably is a major(blue)-minor (gray) port system - or so Im guessing.

If you look closely, you'll see a german flag in the blue ports. I guess that that means that there are ships docked there.

Quite possibly, in Strassbourg it'd be the Maginot line, and the other ones czekoslovakian border defences.

yea stars I though by now represent defence lines , remember when german got the czekoslovakian areas of Sudeten and Erz back etc, they also got the czekoslovakian border defences which will be a big defencive grid for germany in that kind of area lol, stars mean well I think similar to forticications etc... then you got thr view to see what division or how many posible sub divisions thier are in that army unite on the biard for instance thiers on army unite in Berlin or in that Province area which is a tank so looking at other view those symbols represtnt those unites but what the crosses mean I can only gues lol, probably how many sub devisions or squads thier are lol..

oh and you right the ports are being used in Kiel and Wilhelmshaven, looks like two unites in Wilelhmshaven and one unite in Kiel, also looking at the unites they look so good on the map I think, ohhh think thier are 2 types of unites in Berlin.

If you wondering why I think this is beacuse just look how long flags are compared to the other flag sizes lol, thier a bit longer and in EU2 if you have two unites on same provinces tile it makes flag look longer..

You know I'm a beta-tester, have a copy of the game, and have even made my own screenshots a couple of times (sorry, can't show 'em, NDA).

Yet despitethat, I can't help but look at the weekly screenies...

If you compare the two blue harbors on the two maps it seems that there are subs docked in those harbors. So that might imply that blue harbors means large/small/sub/with ships in . I definately hope it is not the last option, or I hope there are different size harbors... :)

It seems that there's a red dots on a country's capital. Now I wonder why there isn't any of such fo luxemburg.
This country was independant at that time IIRC, will it be too small to be considered as a full country in the game ?

Secondly, why isn't there any pics of Dostler ? I've found pics of him very easily... Is it because he was convinced of war crimes after ordering to kill 15 American soldiers who were his prisoners ?

In the "icon-mode" it seems that the unit's strength is the small X but doesn't go any further than 4 (see the unit over Arlon, probably the "CHASSEURS ARDENNAIS", it says 6 in the other mode)

Always in that mode, it seems to be 3 differents icons for ground units (armoured an infantry seems to be the same : see Hannover and Berlin). Those one are :
1. The most common, like in Hannover or Eindhoven
2. The one in the Bulges (there's a small triangle more)
3. The soutest one in Czech

Maybe the date/time doesnt run or can be turned off in that build and luxemburg has already fallen? Or maybe its just too small.

As for Dostler, maybe all the photos arent in yet and thats the placeholder? Or perhaps Hes spying or somesuch and that causes his picture to change?
