Looks nice, upper balk has been changed. Does the lightbulb mean that when it's on 100 you get higher tech? Interesting :)

Hmmm . . . looking at the little "person" icons to the right of each province name, it looks like they have seperate icons for slaves and for free persons. For the provinces that have three "icons", it looks like there might be (at least?) two different classifications of free people. Any word on what these figures mean, exactly? :)

Oh, neat

Still don't like the way the map looks in general. I prefer the Eu2 approach more; this is too bland for me...

But I realize this is still Beta, so hopefully it can still improve :)

Belive it or not, my modem is very slow nowadays and I am still waiting for the screenshots to appear....any chance for a political background screenshot?

Edit: unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be there:(

I see it now. Well, it's nice. It certainly has more graphs and symbols than EU2 (excellent). I would still like to see a political leadership screenie or the colonization screen

Obviously one of the icons is Oil, and another is cattle(perhaps food in general, or meat supply in general?) but what is the other one? Is it just a placeholder, perhaps? I love the screenie, it's nice to get a shot of the US.

Actually the Republic of Texas was a great deal larger in 1836 than what that screenshot indicates. That seems to be modern Texas...

Actually, most of that land was disputed with Mexico, and did not become part of Texas until after the Mexican-American war.

That land may have been disputed, but the Texas Congress set the boundaries in 1836 to include the land shown above. even if disputed, the land is claimed by Texas in the time period, so should be reflected in Victoria ;)
