I do somewhat support the fact that under Richmond there should be Petersburg, another fairly big city of the confederates,

will the movements by the troops trough the West Vg'n mountains be hampered significantly. Some civil war games even prevent the movement of an army trough these mountains,

Are those the railroads at Manassas junction? Or is it a simply weird drawing.

What about the rebels in Bowling green, there seems to be an icon in the middle of the army counter?

Does not each province (perhaps large county would be better word in this case) have multiple cities in them? Even though the territory of Richmond is huge my bet is that it has multiple cities with Richmond as the most important.

My guess that just like EU2 movement into mountains will take longer than moving into plains.

Plus, I'd guess that in mountainous regions, armies will suffer higher attrition rates. This way the game makes it possible to move through the mountains, but at the cost of moving slowly with a higher attrition rate, it is not necessarily desirable to do this. ;)

The two confed armies in Bowling Green seem to have something at their feet, looks like four little dots I wonder what they represent? A General, number of army or is it a provincial improvement? As for the rest of the screenie, WOW. Two factors affecting terrain, this is by far the best looking Paradox game to date, both in looks and depth.

OMG! What does control progress mean, I really, really hope that means that Bowling green is 66% under the control of the Conferancy. I remember pushing for a system like that when HoI was in development, if you guys have pulled that off you’ll have killed of the hexes vs provinces debate once and for all.

Other than semantics none. It is just weird for me to call a small territory within a state (region) a province.
