No doubt, as with respect to every Paradox game map before, there will be discussions about names, and as always, not every issue has a definite solution. For example, one could make a case that the city representing southern Tyrolia should be named Bozen yadayada ...
But it has its Italian name, and in comparison I think it's just as ok that Rijeka is named Rijeka, I guess.

I must say that your thinking is absolutely not logical Hartmann. If Bolzano is OK for you (instead of Bozen) the same argumentation has to apply for Fiume / Rijeka.
However, IMHO Paradox has 3 choices concerning province names:
a given province is named upon
1) to which nation it belonged in 1936
2) which ethnicity has a majority (could be a very hot issue!)
3) always use English name where possible
Moreover, I hope very much that Paradox will give much more efforts concerning province names within the Carpathian Basin (Slovakia, Hungary, Romania) than they did in EU2. Especially the Hungarian names + province sizes were extremely ridiculous.
