Screen Resolutions

Disclaimer: I have very good specs!

I just got Victoria, and I have to say I'm not happy about the lack of 800x600 Resolution for it. Guys, I don't know about you but my eyes hurt after playing a couple of minutes of that game. Please Paradox, don't take that resolution away from HoI II. Nine out of ten HoI games I have played have been on this very same resolution. Even though I have a 19" inch TFT monitor, with cool graphic card and what not. On Victoria, everything is just so painfully small and far away! The letters, the numbers, the symbols... I just had to turn it off to writte this message here. Horrible!

More important for me was the possibility to zoom a little bit more in the game (ok, specially for provinces and units, not for the menu)

Heh, i'm holding out the hope that HOI2 will run at the same resoultion as my desktop: 1600x1200

Well, that is not an resolution issue, but the size of fonts then...
There is just so much text that you can fit on a screen, and in vicky there was too much text to make it all large enough - but it is unrelated to resolution, generally.
