Screen Resolution going larger than I can handle

For some weird reason everytime I start CKII, the screen goes so large all I can see when it loads is Europe and the top of that brown box that tells me which DLC I haven't purchased, is there anyway I can change it from Steam or the game files so I can deal with it better from the in game menu?
