Getting green and white screen, sort of like a checkerboard of particles... I figured out it must be an issue with DirectX 12. I used the "-force-d3d9" switch and it goes away... it is NOT on the actual GAME board screen... but on the controls "overlay" for lack of a better word. It is a framework that all the controls are on, the layer if you will... bottom bar, upper right hand options gear, and the chirper icon. Any fix so we can use the Dx 12 speed improvments?

The game is not written to use DX12. In fact it doesn't use any DX11-exclusive feature either, which is why forcing DX9 does not cost you any feature or speed.

Whether there are any plans to change that I have no idea, but there's no reason not to use that switch for the foreseeable future.

That would make sense then. :) the only thing that would be gained is a 30 to 40% speed increase. But I can't imagine they will rewrite the whole game just for that.
