screen goes the desktop sorta

When in the refix screen and now when doing the dialog for the 1st major mission the screen flickers to black and then the desktop, but not the desktop. I mean I see the desktop but the mouse is still in the game and I hear the games sounds even the sound when the mouse goes over a button in game. I need to close the game a restart to see the game again

Is this just in this one particular campaign? Or also in any new one you might start as a test?

There is an error in that log near the end but I don't think it relates to this problem.

However there are possibly serious issues at the end of that dxdiag with your nVidia driver. Have you had to force reboot or power down your computer recently, if so was it due to this problem here or something else?
