Yeah! go after England

It is a must now, if they can get and build a colony then you are going to have a nightmare. It is better to kill. Survival of the species, it's totally natural.

War of Unification (July 1, 1511 - April 16, 1515)

July 1511
---------
Today is the day, July 1, 1511. I have decided to declare war upon England. Many of the nobles are blatanly protesting this calling me a hipocrite because of what I have said about the wars in the rest of Europe currently being waged. I do understand them, but this war I feel cannot be stopped. England is at its most vulnerable spot it has been in a long time and Eire is now completely fortified. Eire shall be united under our rule before this war is over.

Mobilizing immidatly, we move our troops south in England proper to Midlands and lay seige to the town there while my troops in Eire head for Meath. When we arrive in Meath however, we find our forces are too small to completely surround the city and so cannot lay seige to it. Because of this, I have reluctantly decided to take out yet another loan. I hope this is the last. I do atleast use this sudden influx of money to recruit more troops throughout all of Eire though.

August 1511
-----------
We lost our first battle in the Bantry Bay. It is sad, but not unexpected. Even with the new technologies it seems my captains cannot fight well.

Yorkshire has been besieged by England. I hope my army in Milands will finish their seige soon or we may loose Yorkshire to the English.

Crimea has decided to end its war with Poland-Lithuania after paying them 45 duncats. I figure Poland-Lithuania had better things to do and that is why they did not press for more.

November 1511
-------------
My fleet sent to patrol the coast of England proper has finished and found little sign of troops. This is great news! I order them to join the fleet in Eire for use later in this war, however, an English fleet spots us on our leaving and attacks us. We are utterly defeated.

Its is the 15th of November and I have word that Teutonic Order has defeated Pskov and forced them to pay 223 duncats. A descent, but not major, blow to Pskov.

December 1511
-------------
Our fleet was chased, but rather than risk loosing what little we had left of it, we retreated immideatly from England.

January 1512
------------
Word has come to me that we have once again succeeded in our two 5-year missions! With this joyous news I immediatly proclaim 3 new missions. First, I shall continue to keep Lancashire, second I shall also conquer Midlands before this war is over and third, I shall have a royal marriage with Hectivia. With that said I immediatly send my youngest sister to Hectivia asking for a marriage with one of their sons. They flat out refuse me! I can't believe that, but oh well, I can't force them.

Another spot of great news comes to me this month. It seems the Midlands our now ours! Our goal is one step closer. I do not let my troops sit idly though for there is still a threat to Yorkshire.

February 1512
-------------
Seems one of those disatified nobles has decided to take matters into his own hands and has started an uprising in Ulster. Right now I am too busy to worry with it and their force is patheric so they can wait to be dealt with.

Our forces also arrive in Yorkshire where slightly outnumbered we crush them. I immediatly send them chasing after the enemy to Lincoln.

March 1512
----------
Oh! This is terrible! Our navy in Bantray Bay has been wiped out! How could this be! I cannot believe this! What could have happed to have done this? What does this mean? I have decided to have an extra helping of wiskey tonight.

Well it seems the destruction of our fleet although bad, was not fatal. Our forces in Licoln caught up with the enemy and have decimated their forces. With so few remaining, they leave off and begin a seige of Lincoln.

May 1512
--------
More forces have arrived in Licoln to aid with this siege. Soon we may be able to finish them off!

It is a fine day today! Meath has been captured from England! While I cheer I cannot tally for I have a rouge noble to deal with as I head north to Ulster. I also ask for peace with England dor the two provinces to see what they say, but I knew already what the answer would be, no. So the war continues.

Hungary has had to accept peace with Turkey on the 23rd after paying 56 duncats. I believe Turkey decided not to press on too long with all the enimes it now has.

Alas, it is a sad day for our alliance as Hectivia has had to pay 250 duncats to Navara. While this is bad news for Hectivia's finaces, Navara still cannot do much against me as they still have the giant France to their north.

August 1512
-----------
Once again I try for a marriage between Scottland and Hectivia and to my surpise it is accepted! Now all we need to do is hold onto this marriage for atleast the next 5 years.

September 1512
--------------
We have recaptured Ulster. Now while I wait for what's left of our Fleet to arrive in the Irish Sea I have the rouge noble executed for treason.

September 20th is a blow to our alliance. Bohemia has been able without Austria's help defeat Thuringen. Not only did they defeat them, Thuringen was forcefully annexed by Bohemia. Normally I would be cheering such a country in its ourcoming of its would-be agreessor, but normally those countries are not at war with me.

October 1512
------------
The beggining of this month shows Crimea accepting peace with Georgia after Georgia pays 238 duncats.

Licoln falls in the middle of the month and England immeditaly offers me it and Midlands, but I haveto refuse for it lacks the most essential aspect of this war, Meath. I started this war to unite Eire under Scottish rule and so I reject it and send my troops to Bristol.

Seems Bohemia just keeps on ticking. After their annexation of Thuringen, Bohemia has won a small, if potentially helpful victory over Bavaria. Bavaria was forced to pay 50 duncats and though while small, it does show this vassal nation is capable of defending itself.

November 1512
-------------
We have begun our seige on Bristol. Hopefully the English will listen soon, though the English our stubborn.

My troops have begun also arrived in mainland England, however they are small in number and I'll wait for more to cross over before moving them elsewhere.

December 20, 1512
-----------------
Another blow to our alliance. Milan has been forced to accept peace with Austria after paying 138 duncats. This is not good, however, they our busy with Turkey and its allies and I hope they leave us alone.

January 1513
------------
I have decided with my failing health to give the throne to my son, James V and live the remaining few months of my life in peace.

[End Dialogue for James IV]

Now I, King James V of Scottland, must continue his dream, the eventual unification of the two isles under Scottish rule. While my father may have settled for a unified Eire and the Midlands, I cannot. I declare that England shall fall in this war, althoguh our ally France may have Calais if they wish though (and they can take it). Although my father did not see his dreams, I know he shall not be forgotten in our legends for he reclaimed our anscestrol homelands and conquered the nation of Eire. I do have a war to attend to however and I shall begin by sending out a message to my provinces to hire more men for while England may be hurt by our taking of 3 porinves, it is by no means defeated.

The 5th of this month sees the Wallachia forcing peace on Venice after paying 97 duncats.

Seems England has finally found my fleet and has gone to battle. I hope we can win or atleast stall them long enough to get some more of my troops across.

February 1513
-------------
My first battle since taking the throne and it is a defeat. I cannot believe this! I think I shall spend some time out on the target range today.

Sweden and Russia have returned to Status Quo as of the 20th of this month. Yet another war over with. Seems the wars that plauged the latter part of my father's reign are dying down.

Ouch! Another win for Austria against us as Hectivia is once again forced to shell out more money on the 22nd. This time 130 duncats.

March 16, 1513
--------------
Ryazan has now become a vassal of Russia. Seems Russia decided not to press for more with Sweden in order to get this vassalization.

May 1513
--------
With my fleet requiped, I send them out to the Irish Sea to finish ferrying our troops across.

England has offered peace after I captured Bristol, but with no troops on its shores I declined. England shall be under Scottish rule! Navara also demmanded I pay them to end the war with them, but since neither myself nor my father have had any trouble with them I decline laughing in their face.

With the conquest of Bristol I move on now to Anglia and the captiol of England. If I can capture it, it will surely mean my eventual victory.

I also move my forces south to Wales so I can begin beseiging that province. Victory is within my grasp! Maybe not this year, but next year for sure!

June 1513
---------
After defeating the pathetic remnats of the once mighty English army, I lay seige to London.

Cardiff in Wales is also under a seige. Soon all of England will be under our control.

July 1513
---------
The last of our troops in Eire are across and are now on their way south to aid in the seige with Candiff.

August 10, 1513
---------------
I recieved a report today that my father died in his bed peacefully. I am glad to hear his final days were so. I, along with my fellow Scotts will miss him, but I must continue this war. I do however temporarily give control to my second-in-command while I visit his funeral since we are clearly winning this war I believe I can afford to do so.

November 1513
-------------
News has come to me that Poland-Lithuania has scored a major vicotory against on the 7th of this month Turkey aquiring Georgia and Antolia.

Another victory for Scottland! Anglia is now under our control! London has been captured! I can imagine the shock on the Henry VIII's face, Again they offer peace, but we decline knowing they are now at our mercy. Our forces take little time to rest as they moce south to Kent.

December 1513
-------------
As of the 3rd, Georgia must pay 131 duncats to Hafsid Empire to end its war. It seems Turkey and its allies have had a mixed bag of wins and losses.

We have no begun our seige upon Kent. 5 more provinces and England is ours!

January 10, 1514
----------------
Spain has won a great victory for Christianity. It has forced Hafsid Empire to pay 250 duncats and give them Tripolitania.

January 17, 1514
----------------
Persia must now give up the territory of Azeradzjan to Crimea.

March 1514
----------
England offer peace again, this time only offer 2 provinces. Are they insane? They are on the brink of disaster and offer us even less than before!

May 1514
--------
I receive word from my trade advisor that our effencency at trading has increased to the point that we can now have monoplies in areas. While this has little importance now, I know as soon as this war is over it will be of great use.

June 1514
---------
More forces arrive to aid in the seige at Wales. Hopefully it will be over soon, though I forsee prolonging this war for another year.

Again, England demands peace for even less. I am convinced our sacking of London has caused King Henry to go insane.

July 1514
---------
It seems Calais has finally been captured by France. It took them long enough. Well if they do accpt peace with England for it in the short run it is for the better of our nation as I know many European nations will not be happy with this great shift in power for us.

August 13, 1514
---------------
Golden Horde has declared war upon Ryazan with the aid of Astrakhan. Of course Russia comes to their aid and Pskov does also.

September 1514
--------------
After capturing Kent, England offers a puny peace settlement which we obviously reject. Navara also demands money to settle the war with them which still seeing them naught ever I once again laugh at the diplomats face and this time send them packing immediatly. The nerve! Asking for money when they've done nothing to us!

October 1514
------------
The reformation of the navy under my father's control has finally paid off with a boost in their effeciency [434 duncat increase].

Wessex now comes under our seige. Only 2 provinces are left still controlled by England.

Seems our navy was not the only thing being reformed. I have received word that a heretic by the name Martin Luthar has nailed grievences to a church wall somewhere within the Holy Roman Empire on October 31 of all days! I cannot believe this could be happening! I only pray these heretics do not spread their false beliefs within Scottland.

November 1514
-------------
England again offer peace, atleast this time they were reasonable and offer 3 provinces, but still I had to refuse.

For all their battles seems Austria and Turkey merely returned to Status Quo as of the 10thG. I guess the lack of a continued English force to help them Austria couldn't do much.

February 1515
-------------
I am tiring of these constant peace offers from England. Now if they offered all of England that would be another story.

March 25, 1515
--------------
Turkey has won a dual-front war. Claiming Kosovo from Venice and reclaiming Syria from Persia.

April 1515
----------
With fresh troops in Wales, we attempt an assult, but ultimatly fail after nearly a month of fighting.

As of the 2nd, Georgia no longer exists. It is now a part of Turkey. It seems Turkey has had a recent spout of power from its Status Quo settlement with Austria.

Golden Horde has lost to Russia and as of the 22nd paid a token 19 duncats and gave them Kujbyschew.

May 1515
--------
Seems my assult was unessary. Late this month Candiff fell and we control Wales. Ah, well. I now move my troops to Cornwall and the last province on our list.

Wow! This is a shock! Seems Navara has forced France to pay 114 duncats to end the war between them and as of the 26th, France accepted!

June 1515
---------
My naval advisor has sent me a report about his discovery of a better cannonball to be used on our ships. He notes that they were able to finish research ahead of scedule do to my successful reformation of the navy.

July 1515
---------
Do to this constant war, I had to extend those frivolous loans my father took out 5 years ago. This is not good.

Cornwall is now being besieged. The last province of England. Now England shall soon be under Scottish rule.

August 1515
-----------
Seems England finally put up some resistance on the field. These fresh troops however were hardly resistance. Still England though with this show of force I'd accewpt their latest peace offer.

September 1515
--------------
Seems those troops have decided to lay seige to Licoln. Damn. Can't have the recaptuing it before I conquer the rest of England. Still I believe I'm safe so no major worry yet.

October 1515
------------
Wessex is now under my control. All that remains is Cornwall. Rather than route the English in Licoln I have decided to have the troops in Wessex aid me in Cornwall.

November 1515
-------------
After the troops arrive in Cornwall I attempt an assult against the city, but again, I am thwarted. Perhaps next time I shall be luckier.

December 1515
-------------
Hearing reports that the seige against Licoln is not going in our facor, I dispact some of the troops to deal with them now rather than have this war prolonged even more.

February 1516
-------------
The enemy seige on Licoln was broken by our forces. With that I am sure our seige in Cornwall will end before any new threat arrives.

Another defeat for our side. This time Hectivia had to pay 250 duncats to Cologne on the 15th. Seems like Hectivia has taken the brunt of peace settlements so far.

March 10, 1515
--------------
Finally a victory for our side! France forced Austria to give up Franche Corte.

March 30, 1515
--------------
Again I am shocked. France has won another war, this time against the Hafsid Empire. I vauguely recall them going to war against them during my father's reign. Seems that's why France hasn't been doing so well against England and her allies. They sent their forces their to annex them!

April 16, 1515
--------------
Today shall be a day remembver in Scottland for all time. For today is the day we defeated England and I have united the 2 islands under Scottish rule. I have declared a week of celebration and this day a national holiday to be remembered. England also got what it wanted Calais back from England.

June 1515
---------
Bohemia has demanded payment for a peace settlement. Rather than accept it, I'll wait it out till a white peace can be settled hopefully.

I am unsure how to post the image on this forum, but here's the link:

Great AAR writing, and good job annexing the English so fast! What's next on the Agenda, financial buildup, another war, or some imperialism?

Please continue, your annexation and conquest was most cheerfully recieved by the people I believe. - Some english a***s kisser.

Now I believe is a time to settle and consolidate your winnings, count your losses and try for a new target, something in europe's mainland, how about becoming an elector in the HRE? Who knows maybe latter you can become a Holy Roman King.

Now tell me something, how does England gets back Calais from England? But as always great AAR.

I have decided after our annexation of our hated rival, England, to turn the remainder of this war into a purely defensive war, although it is tempting to get rid of Navara who continues to prester me with demands of money to end peace when they've done nothing to me! Ahh, well, I know many of the rulers in Europe are quite wary of my recent expansion to include all of England so I'll play it safe for now.

After a thorough evaluation of England's records, I have discovered that they had already send ships across the seas beyond where any known Scottsman has charted. This is great news. We have also found 2 trading posts in that recently discovered land set up by England and have now swore fealty to the Scottish Crown. I am glad we got them now for I cannot imagine what amount of resources they could've pulled from this new world had we waited longer.

August 1516
-----------
Two revolts this month. One in Midlands and the other once again in Ulster. Seems another noble in Ulster has decided to take matters into his own hands. This time when I recapture it, I will be appointing someone I know I can trust.

At the same time these revolts were happening, the third loan my father took out came do and once again I had no choice but to have an extension. These entensions are killing our encomy! I hope next year with our icreased revenue we might be able to pay off some of them.

My army has lost in Midlands, although there were outnumbered 4 to 1. I've sent my main force to deal with these rebels before their seige is effective.

On the 29th Ryazan accepted peace terms with Golden Horde. They had to cede Tambow to the Horde.

September 3, 1516
-----------------
Seems France is incapable of winning almost any war. They've now given 139 duncats to Bohemia to end the war with them. It also seems that Bohemia keeps winning war after war. I may haveto worry about this tiny nation one day.

October 1516
------------
My main army force has arrived in Midlands to stop the rebel seige there. The battle is but child's play for my verteran soldiers. Hopefully this will teach the former English peasants who's their ruler, but I doubt this is the last.

January 1517
------------
I have sent word to Meath that I wish for a Baliff to be promoted there. There rest of Scottland already has Baliff's thanks to my father and the English monarchy.

I'm also sending one of my main forces to Eire to put down that rebellion now.

Seems a Navaran fleet was just outside our territory, but my navy too quick care of it. At the same time Bohemia demanded I pay them to end the war with them. Hah! I won't be like all the other countries and give into them easily.

I have succeded in my fathere's five-year missions, or rather 2 of them. My father set up the marriage with Hectivia. As my first offical missions I shall keep the Grampions and also have a royal marriage with Loraine and eager to achieve this result, I send a messanger to Loraine asking them for a royal marriage between our two houses. As of now I am a bachelor and a marriage with them will strength ties with mainland Europe. My diplomat I sent must have been less than appealing at the virtues of a Scottish marriage. Ahh, well perhaps next time.

February 1517
-------------
Bristol and once again the Midlands are revolting, though in Bristol it seems the local monarch who swore fealty to me is the one responsibe. That's what I get for being too trusting, but I do learn from my mistakes.

We won our battle in midlands, but just barely. I believe the noble in Bristol hid trained soldiers within the peasants there.

At about the same time, an Austrian fleet spotted us in St. George's Channel and has engaged us.

March 1517
----------
I can't believe this! We lost to the Austrian fleet with 21 ships and they only had 3! How can this be! I don't care what, that is inexcusable. When the captain arrives in port again he's no longer going to be a captain.

Another revolt, this time in Kent. Seems these revolts just keep coming! I'm going to add 5000 infantry in Wales to help replenish the lost troops from the Midlands.

I've engaged in Bristol and once again am defeated! How can this be! When I get these revolts over with, I will have a thorough investigation of our military strategies and practices.

Meanwhile I also sent another diplomat to Loraine, but rumors of our inabilty to keep our peasants under control seems to have made the monarchy there doubtful about our strength. Damn those peasants!

April 1517
----------
Once again an army engages, this time in Kent. And finally, we actually score a victory with little losses! That's how it should be done!

May 1517
--------
Finally! Our recent victory in Kent must have changed Loraine's ruler's mind and I am married to their younger of the two daughters.

Our royal marriage with Spain ended with the tragic death. I tried to ask for another marriage, but they thought the death was our fault and rejected another one. Pity. We need right now more than most times marriages with as many nations as possible near us to help keep them from going to war with us.

I've split my forces in Wales in two, one to head to Eire and the other to aid my seige in Bristol, if we succeed.

June 1517
---------
We were successful in Bristol, but my army is too small to surround the fortress so I must wait for my reinforcemnts to arrive.

July 1517
---------
Our force has arrived in Bristol and now we can finally lay seige to this renagade noble.

August 1517
-----------
Dang! Our fleet unloading in Eire is under attack by Austria again! I hope I can unload in time.

We made it! Our forces were able to make it ashore and we quickly make a retreat to the nearest port since we are almost defeated. Meanwhile, Ulster finally is under attack.

As soon as we layed seige to them, Austrian forces landed in Ulster and creamed us! Luckily they are a small force and cannot lay seige to the city.

September 1517
--------------
Having nothing to loose, I offer a white peace with Austria, but they decline.

November 13, 1517
-----------------
Word has finally reached me that Spain won its war in the new world taking 250 duncats in treasure and a province known to the locals as Tuxpan.

December 1517
-------------
With these constant revolts and now an invading Austria I have decided to finally raise war taxes.

January 1518
------------
I have decided to increase my military in Connaught by 5000 infantry and 1000 cavalry before once again engaging the Austrians in Ulser.

Also my Baliff was finally found and now all of the Isles have Baliffs. This definatly increases the tax potential.

I've also increased the size of my navy throughout.

March 16, 1518
--------------
Once again Teutonic Order has declared war on Pskov. Prussia, Netherlands, Papal States, Hansetic League and Pommerania all joined Teutonic Order while Russia seems to be Pskov's only defender.

April 1518
----------
A large force of pesants is revoltsing in Wales. I hope my siege on Bristol ends soon, but I can't give it up now, they're all but crushed.

May 1518
--------
We've captured Bristol from the renegade noble and since I personally want to see him executed in a public square for his crimes, I've inprisoned him while we march to Wales.

Navara has demanded money again. We decline. The only time we've seen them, we crushed their fleet.

June 1518
---------
Again, having nothing to loose I offer a white peace with Austria which as I expected, they reject. When I receive word of the rejection, I order my troops in Connaught to mobilize and head for Ulster since the new recuits are now battle ready.

We've engaged in battles in both Ulster and Bristol.

July 1518
---------
Great news it seems. One of my advisors reports to me that a breakthrough has occured and our infrastructure can now be increased. This is just what we needed to help our encomy recover and pay off the loans.

We ended up loosing both battles. This is not a good month for us it would seem.

August 1518
-----------
I would have waited to resend my troops to Ulster, but it seems Austria has withdrawn their troops. I wonder if it is because they decided not to go to war with us or is it to mearly reposition them somewhere else?

October 1518
------------
Unfortunatly, I was correct about Austria. Now they are besieging Bristol and this time, they do have enought troops to do so.

November 1518
-------------
We actually won a battle against Austria in St. George's Channel. Finally! I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever win a battle against them.

December 1518
-------------
I have once again decided to raise war taxes with the continued Austrian threat.

Well I again offered a white peace with Navara and this time they accepted. Atleast I got that minor nation off my back.

Bohemia also accepted a white peace offer. There that got rid of Austria's vassal, now It's just Austria I haveto worry about.

With these two peace offers accepted, I offer peace with Austria in the hopes they'll accept, but they don't.

January 1519
------------
Seems our royal marriage with France has ended after the Church declared the lord there dead after he'd been missing for several years. I offer them another marriage proposal with my last unmarried sister and they accept.

With our taxes, I recruit a massive force in Lancashire of 22,000 infantry to add to our my command so that we can crush the rebels and the Austrians.

Ulster has finally come under our control once again! Atlast the rouge noble is put to death!

January 13, 1519
----------------
Teutonic Order offer 155 duncats with Russia to end the war with them. Most likely, in my opinion, to get them off their backs with dealing with Pskov.

January 14, 1519
----------------
One day after the news about Russia and Teutonic Order, I hear that Austrian King Karl V is crowned Holy Roman Emperor. I can't belive this. I will make sure Austria doesn't take any of our lands now even moreso than before.

February 1519
-------------
Another rouge noble, this time in Kent. Seems like you put one down only to have another take their place. Will this ever end?

Our fleet which escaped met another in Straits of Dover and defeated the Austrian one easily.

March 1519
----------
Another revolt, this one in Anglia near the former English capital of London. I do not see these revolts ending anytime soon.

April 1519
----------
The revolt has increased in Anglia with over 58,000 pesants now! I must however defeat the Austians first for they are about to finish off Bristol.

I cannot believe this! My military advisor was the one behind these revolts in Anglia! [random event: Scandal in Court on same day as revolt] Now that he has been found out he's escaped. I cannot believe my trusted military advisor would do such a thing.

May 1519
--------
We engaged in Austrian army in Bristol and although we lost, we did destroy their stregnth by a lot, enough to end the threat of the seige.

June 21, 1519
-------------
Sweden has declared war upon Norway. It seems as if just the two of them will be fighting.

August 1519
-----------
Another revolt by a noble, this time in Wessex although the force isn't that big. Still, it is a sign that southern Scottland is currently in rebel hands.

September 1519
--------------
We finally defeated 1 of the rebel groups, this one in Wales. That still leaves 3 left.

October 1519
------------
No sooner have I destroyed one group than another revolts. Now all of Southern Scottland is in renegade noble hands. I wish they'd revolt in Bristol so the Austrians could face them.

November 1519
-------------
An Austrian force has landed in Connaught. I send my force in Ulster to deal with them.

December 1519
-------------
Finally! Atleast 1 good thing has happened with the rebels, they revolted in Brestol and the Austrians can worry about them.

I've also decided I once again need to raise war taxes.

The Austrians did manage to put down the force in Brestol, but it cost them some men. Well atleast the rebels were finally good for something.

January 1520
------------
As much as I'd love to save my money to pay off the loans that will come due this year once again, I cannot. Instead I have to spend it to deal with these constant rebellions.

The Austrian force in Connaught was completely obliterated. That'll teach them to mess with Scottland!

February 1520
-------------
Two more revolts. One in Meath which my forces in Eire can handle and another in Brestol. The Austrians are good for one thing atleast.

Anglia has finally been captured. This isn't good for Scottland. 5 southern provinces in rebel hands!

Again the Austrians were a help, though Brestol was betrayed from within so it is still in rebel hands.

The rebel forces in Meath were defeated. Now the city is under seige. Atleast Eire has been relatively quiet.

March 1520
----------
Another force engaged the Austrians and was defeated. Better Austrian forces than mine.

April 21, 1520
--------------
Crimea accepted peace with Venice after paying 168 duncats to Venice.

June 1520
---------
We finally defeated the great rebel force in Anglia and can now lay seige to London and slowly begin to hopefully reclaim southern Scottland from rebel hands.

July 1520
---------
Due to monitary restraints we were forced to take out another loan this month. My father's debt is catching up with me. Since I have the money, I might as well use it. I begin searching for a legal councel for Lancashire and use the rest to recruit 2000 soldiers and build 10 cannons.

Do to the fact that I had to extend the loans again, I've lowered naval matiance to 50% since as I stated before this war is now purely defensive and I won't be using my fleets all that much.

Turkey has won another war. This one with Spain. They paid 85 duncats to end it. They were probably to busy with their war in the new world for so long they couldn't get a hold against Turkey.

August 26, 1520
---------------
Teutonic Order has payed 41 duncats to end its war with Pskov. Seems even with all the might of the various countries they couldn't defeat them.

September, 1520
---------------
We've been forced to take out yet another loan. Rather than let it sit since we'll be getting money in a couple months from taxes, I spend it on another legal counsel in Midlands and 3000 more infantry and 1000 cavlary.

We've captured Anglia back. Now only 5 more rebel provinces. Hopefully none revolt till then, but somehow I don't see that happening.

October 1520
------------
Our economy has gone bankrupt! This isn't good for our economy and the only light I can see is the fact that we don't haveto worry about interest paymnets on the loan. That however, is a small consolation compared to our prediciment.

Seems Austria is determined to pester us. They landed in Anglia and attacked us with another pitiful force which we easily defeated.

November 1520
-------------
Well we now lay seige to Kent and some of my recruits have been trained so I can send them to aid in the seige.

December 1520
-------------
The pope has declared that Spain and Portugal can capture any province outside Europe without a war! I cannot believe the Pope could do such a thing. Perhaps it is time to think about switching sides...

Our other force has been trained and I send them south to aid the siege also.

The Austrians never seem to gice up do they? Again the group that attacked me earlier in Anglia attacks again, though since my unit is small they may win.

January 1521
------------
Even with the reinforcemnts that arrived a bit late we still lost to Austria in Anglia.

February 1521
-------------
We captured Maath back finally, though only to find that one of our core provinces, The Grampions is now under seige by rebels!

Much as I hate to spend the money, I recruit 4000 troops in some northen provinces to deal with The Grampions.

April 1521
----------
Again a small force has landed in Aglia. I wish the Austrians would just settle for a white peace and go home.

June 1521
---------
Both Meath, though Meath was taken from within, and Midlands are revolting. I have forces stationed in Meath, but I do hope midlands can hold out till my seige in Kent is over.

July 1521
---------
A revolt in Anglia, though luckily some Austrians are there to take the brunt.

August 1521
-----------
These revolts never seem to end. Now another one in Bristol! [There was an error somewhere and somehow I got it back]

We have recaptured the Grampions from the rebels. Now atleast our core provinces are safe for now.

I attempt an assult on Kent so I can leave here quickly, hopefully.

September 1521
--------------
More rebels in Bristol. This is bad for Bristol.

We end up loosing the seige with heavy losses. Guess I can't help them out yet. We can't leave Kent when it's about to fall.

October 1521
------------
What is happening in Bristol? Nore peasants are being added to the ones already there!

We lost control of Midlands to the rebels. That means my legal counsel I had wanted to promote there to ease tensions is also kaput.

November 1521
-------------
Now a revolt in Lincoln! Will these revolts ever subside?

January 1522
------------
Our royal marriage with Denmark has ended after a tragic shipwreck. We offer each other condolances and ask if they would like to renew our relations with another marriage to my last unwed brother and they agree.

We have recaptured Kent finally! Now its off to Bristol.

I have succeeded in my 2 five year missions and decide to declare two more. First, I decide to extend the mission to keep the Grampions and now have a royal marriage with Venice.

I offer Venice a royal marriage, but they seem to not like my country very much and send my diplomat packing quickly.

February 1522
-------------
My army finally reaches Bristol and we quickly route the pesants from their seige.

Well that's it for now...I'm still tempted to convert to Protestantism since right now it won't matter too much (Yes, I'll have some more revolts, but my stability can't go any lower)
