No smart swedish player would be battling austrians at some forsaken Nördlingen in a grand campaign, as there is no benefit to be gained there. If you have a tyw scenario with limited geography and timeframe, you won't be worried about any long term goals etc. That is why napoleanic wars scenario is so popular - you just load it and kick butt, not promote tax collectors, build colonies etc.

However, while those Swedes wouldn't battle Austrians there.. they certainly would be wary of Russians... And those Russians certainly would have been making a move if the Swedes performed too well in the TYW.
