Hi all people out there, both counts and barons.
I agree that the Editor shall be very cool.
I also agree that you're waiting for it so much.
So am I. I come to the site several times a day to see whether the ScEd is finished yet, and I often become disappointed to see it's not.
But you can't make the creators hurry up by asking 'When it'll be out? When? When? When? When?' in every five minutes. Would you be happy if you got such messages a few hundred times every day? So let them do their job, the result will be available when it is ready.
Not earlier, not later.
Of course everyone is impatient. But it's better not to charge unkeepable promises. I suppose that's why they don't tell us the date of publishing.
So, bon séjour until the stuff is out.

That's because it is generating such huge interest. It might be annoying to see but everyone is dead excited about it. I can wait, personally, as i'd rather see a well thought out, coded and properly released version of the editor "when its ready" than something to appease the masses sooner.

So far i have never been dissappointed by anything paradox related.

Not everyone is dead excited about it. Doesn't do much for me. I like the game the way it is and unless the editor will allow you to change some things (like allowing assaults from the beginning of the game etc.) I'll just play the game as it is.

Nah, I don't need it. I don't know enough history to make my own scenarios any more accurate than they are in the game.

Word pad is not bad but a little slow and tedious if you ask me. It took me 20 minutes to create a united germany alone.

Is the editor gonna be released together with patch 1.05?

I hope that it would be possible to created an entirely new nation with the editor, that would be cool... Currently, I'm wordpad illiterate.
