But you have to realize some of us don't speedy Gonzales through it and 20 years is a breeze. Some people such as myself take it nice and easy. 20 years game time is at least 1-2 days of game play (not contiguous but game play wise)

There needs to be an option for pre-purchasers to save...

There will be a regular save feature in the full game. Not having a save is part of what makes this a demo...

Technically, you can, but it requires a lot of effort, you can find the thread about if you search. Not really worth it in my opinion, when you need to take a break just pause the game and minimize.
