Simple question, where are games saved locally on your computer? I went ahead and used a mod that autosaves every 5 minutes and now my save game list is getting out of hand (as it makes a new save everytime it autosaves)
Deleting in-game will take too long, as you can't delete multiple saves, and it takes a while for the game to delete a single save at a time.
