A few days ago I broke my save while I was switching companions. I had just begun to explore the Oldwalls and before venturing further I wanted to switch in Lantry. Back at the Spire, I had some issues trying to pick him, the "clickbox" seemed to be different, I had to speak to him to switch him and couldn't do it while modifying my team from other dialogues. When I finally managed to get him in the current roster I discovered that he had lost every skills he learned except one rank 2 in the sage tree, I think it was the one with the potential paralysing effect.
As I was playing in Iron Man I couldn't go back to an earlier save so I went to the menu and reloaded back to see if it would change anything. It indeed had an effect but not really the one expected : Lantry had completely disappeared from my team and the Spire, I had no reputation gauge with him anymore, it was like he never existed/Inever met him. As a bonus I think he even had equipped my shadow bracers artifact when he disappeared. I didn't use any console command during the whole playthrough and I didn't install any mod.
Since I'm playing in HC I can't load an earlier save and thus it totally ruins the game. I doesn't mind losing because of my mistake (this is my second character ^^), but a bug like this one kinda removed me the desire to start a new one for now, not knowing if I would suffer from the same problem.
Can you fix my save please ? You really created an awesome game, I enjoyed my two attempts at completing it a lot and I would really love to continue my adventures.
I hope you will be able to fix the bug, I did a quick check of the forum and didn't find exact replicas of my issue so I posted a new thread.
