Save times are horrendous

As the title says the save times take way to long, most games take 5 seconds to save, were as Surviving Mars takes 30+, it's crazy.
Also can we get an option to have it save every half hour not every ten min or at least it seems like 10min or less.

Every time i go to place something or upgrade a building my game decides to save, it did it last night in the middle of a meteor storm and i happen to be placing air defense when it started and then it locked me out of placing more for some stupid reason.

You can change the frequency of the auto-saves. By default I believe it auto-saves once per Sol day, but you can change this in the settings. I have mine to save once every Sol week.

What platform are you playing on? I play on XB1X and the save times for me a vary short. Certainly not the 30+ seconds you claim.

I'm on Ps4 and haven't seen any save settings before.
