Well, in that case I can mention - unless you want walking distance to the venue you can book a hotel most anywhere in Stockholm. For commuting you then buy a three-day ticket and you can get to any place in Stockholm within two hours (and that time is only needed if they put it somewhere out in the boondocks or the archipelago, less than one hour is to be expected)
I booked the same hotel (Hotel Hellsten) as last year for the two of us - it's good, it's close to a Metro station and it had rooms available.
I haven't booked the flights yet, will do so shortly. Once again, we're making a holiday out of, staying a full week.
All I'm waiting for now are the tickets themselves! (hint...)

The same hotel (Alexandra) wasn't available this time. Since it's 300 meters from their office I suspect they rented it for invited guests. It could also be just booked for Pentecost holiday since that is the same weekend.

Certainly understandable.
Me, I already live outside Stockholm, at the outskirts of commuter rail, so any "nipping back" for me will be on the "one hour plus" basis since I'm not getting a hotel over that.

There's always the street with the hobos, but I don't know how safe that will be these days.
