Whenever I try to load a save game, it gets stuck very early in the loading process. I've started a new save, only for the same thing to happen again.

How old is this Save game? I mean just started new game after the patch 1.24, or is it months old? Vanilla or modded?
Are you on PC or console?
If PC, Epic or Steam platform? Oh wait, maybe this doesn't matter, as the log is on user documents path. Let me go hunt down the guide...

path to logfie:
appdata is a hidden folder, you'd need to unhide it first
copy paste the contents of the log file to a pastebin.com site or similar and I'll help interpret and troubleshoot what's going on when you load a save file.
Especially if after removing outdated mods do not solve the issue. If you have mods, that is.
If on console, just make sure to remove all mods as they are all outdated at this time. No way to access logs to let us see what exactly is going on in the game, though...
