Save Game location for Mods

I tried to play Iron Cross for DH with (IC 1.01 #5 for DH 1.0) on DH 1.01b1. When I saved the game it saved in the base game location, but it wants to load the save game from Mod directory.

The games are saved in the Mods subfolder, so for example:
- Darkest Hour/Mods/Darkest Hour Full/scenarios/savegames/
- Darkest Hour/Mods/Kaiserreich for DH/scenarios/savegames/
- Darkest Hour/Mods/Iron Cross/scenarios/savegames/

I know where they are suppose to be saved. I loaded up DH with the IC Mod. It saved the file in Darkest hour/scenerios/savegames vs. Darkest hour/mods/iron cross/scenerios/savegames . I was pointing out it SAVED the game in the WRONG place. But wanted to load the game from the right place.

Could you check if there even is an Darkest hour/mods/iron cross/scenerios/savegames folder? If not, the savegame in the core folder would be explained.

If its missing, simply create one yourself, the game will save from now on in this folder.
You should be able to copy your savegame into this new folder on load it.

I can confirm this issue. In my case, Darkest Hour/Mods/Darkest Hour Full/scenarios/save games was an empty file. Can be related to Impulse creating directories on it's own, rather than using some other installer. Nevertheless, devs should check this.

There was no save game folder made by iron cross installation. This is probably something needed to be fixed in an iron cross patch. But it would also be a good idea to make a statement in the how to modding files that a mod needs to make a save game folder.

I can confirm this issue. In my case, Darkest Hour/Mods/Darkest Hour Full/scenarios/save games was an empty file. Can be related to Impulse creating directories on it's own, rather than using some other installer. Nevertheless, devs should check this.

Just clear this for myself.
- you bought the game from Impulse
- Into Darkest Hour/Mods/Darkest Hour Full/scenarios/ there is a file named "save games" instead of an empty folder under the same name?

Yes, exactly. "save games" file with no extension and containing no data whatsoever. That is, until I deleted it and created a directory in it's place.
