Save Game Files

Howdy,

I'm trying to figure out the save game files...

I get most of it...but something I just can't find is: where does it say what technology levels the country has? There is an area under each country that says:

technology = {
preference = { }
army = 1.000
navy = 1.000
commerce = 1.000
culture = 1.000
industry = 1.000

I tryed putting different numbers in and it didn't seem to do anything...

Where in the save file can I find the technology whatsits?

IIRC that's just preferences for AI to decide which type of tech to acquire.

Somewhere is a list of inventions and techs, given with Ids.

Cool. I gather that I can find the ids for the techs in the "db" folder with all the .csv files.
