Save game failed for unknown reason

[Outrageous]

When I try to save I get this message: 'Save game failed for unknown reason'

I'm playing on win 7 32 bit.

I've been playing the tutorial scenario and managed to save before, I have enough disk space, I tried restarting, I tried cloud and local saving, I tried starting a new campaign and saving that.

Any suggestions for a fix?
