Hello,

I've been playing an Ironman ck2 game as Byzantium from the charlemagne start date, and i've noticed recently that the ironman box has an x, and if I mouse over it it says the save is corrupted or altered and the game cannot be played in ironman mode. I haven't touched the save at all though. Is there a way to check to see how it's been altered or fix it? I'm worried it won't convert to eu4 and frustrated about being kicked out of ironman for no reason.

Thanks.

There is no way to look inside an Ironman save, as they are encrypted, sorry to say.

Have you tried running the local cached copy? The location is described in the sticky 'file locations' thread above.
