Save game belongs to another user or is edited.

So i started a game today to get the "First come, first serve" achievement. I created my custom nation and was doing quite well i think. The game shut down out of nowhere a few times, but there were no further errors. Until in the country overview window the tabs (government, diplomacy, etc.) disappeared. I went back to windows to find steam offering up an update. I updated the game and continued.

Then after a while i wanted to check if i was still on track for the achievement. When i hovered over the little trophy icon in the right upper screen i saw that it had turned grey at somepoint. Also it gave me the message that i could not earn achievements because i should be playing as Japan. Odd right?

So i went back to main menu and restarted the game again. Now i still couldn't earn achievements because the save game belongs to another user or is edited. How did this happen? Can i solve this and go back to being able to earn the achievement? And how can i prevent this from happening in the future?

Also when i quit my game on the scoreboard it still says that i the game was in ironman mode.

Register the game with your account and you will be able to see the section with bug reports.

Apparently the hotfix fixed the issue with achievements being disabled if you change tag.
Now they get disabled when ANYONE ELSE THEN YOU changes tag.

I must seem like a complete fool, but how do i register my game? Earlier tonight i linked up my steam account and my paradox account and when i go to my games it already shows EU IV and i can't add a key from steam or something in this tab. Only option it gives me is play one of the games or go to the store...

So i think i already registered it ?

get the key from steam and than try to add it in pdx acc

Found it ! Register games wasn't at my games, but at redeem code...

New games should be fine now, we're going to try and find a way to fix old games tomorrow, but for now you shouldn't continue them.
