I also encountered this problem and for me, it was always the case with autosaves, regular saves worked ok.

Never had this problem before, about to form Lotharingia as Burgundy. Turn off and then on the next day, all saves wrecked autos and manual. Still seems to be happening today, will give another day or two and if still wrecked will go for refund. Nice thing about europe's consumer protection laws you're potentially looking at a full refund for a product that doesn't work. Would not mind a couple of hundred euros and can live with Stellaris and CK3.

Cant describe my frustration about this! How arrogant of Paradox not to even have a customer support while taking charge of this crap! My boycott have begun and will never again recommend any of the games to others..

seems the new update has fixed this bug for me, but seriously, a nasdaq (okay the first growth nordic market isn't the FTSE) listed company pumping out such shoddy product on a key legacy product is pretty shocking
