Hmm.. something interesting I noticed. It seems that OE should not have gotten Persian culture. It isn't on the list of cultures and is specifically excluded from the "exotic cultures" section. What does this mean?

unfortunately i'm gonna quit this game!
For two reasons!

1) I got 6 long terms MP games at the moment, My girl is home for about a month now and a seven hour session on saturday's aint good four our relationship, if you know what i mean!
And i also need one day off at the weekend, EU2 rule my weekend at the moment! :wacko:

2) This game is totally unbalanced, unfortunately it have been unbalanced since start, a Holland at 1520 start aint good, i mean look at them now, they got two CRT up at 1700s, they will have full tech before 1750s, and thats ridicules. At the moment, Austria is facing Denmark, Holland, Sweden, France and OE as enemies. Witch is totally unbalanced and not fun at all. I can't se the fun with this uber alliances, and unfortunately this is the only MP game + saturday 1 that i've seen such a alliances, witch is really bad for the game, . i see no reason to countine this game. I'm not whining or something just becuase i've lost many wars, and this latest war against Denmark/Sweden/Holland. I like wars, win or loose doesn't matter really but the game is dead. Every war is World war, and a World war may be fun, of course. but not in every war. And a world war means that every war is a long war with small chance of success. And a world war with uber alliances allways means that one side is the uber side. in this case i'm allied with Spain, Friend with BB that i as emperor protect and help as much as i can. Russia is in the end of this session also a "Friend", atleast against Sweden and Denmark. This means that Austria-Spain can expect attacks from; France-OE-Holland-Denmark-Sweden, witch is totally fucked up. Especielly since the Habsburgers is not an offensive alliance, we might have been that in the first session, when we ganged France but sience then we have totally been defensive. And everything i have done, have been defensive wars that have caused world wars, witch aint fun!
So, i have no fun in this game. So thats why i quit in reason 2!

And every credit for Bocaj that have done an exellent job as Holland, maybe not every player is capable of creating such a nation but in this scenario Holland has the ability to become that superpower, they can for christ sake attack and crush France easely in this game, with two CRT up and with an exellent player, like Bocaj! Same for KJ i must say, Denmark is a killer with there uber tech and you killed alot of Austrians, + PE. My armies was slaughted.
The war against Denmark was fun, just a shame that i lost PE that earlie
He was my key for the gates of copenhagen

I will of course find me an replacement, and i will find a good one!

1. Not all wars had been WW. France has DOWed the Habsburgs twice alone (the two times I had dowed , I think that in this at least the french-habsburg conflict has been as small as it can be. You know that France has not DOWed sometimes -even when it was at her advantage- in order to avoid any that all conflicts are world wars.
2. Well, in this session we had seen a new and very important development: a uber NL that participates in european conflicts with a very large superiority. A country that can simply defeat Austria practically alone. This is the kind of thing that changes the strategic scenario for all countries.
3. And finally, because playing with you is very fun

Well, I did not participate in your games before, but why Dutch at the start? The dutch in most games I had played always end rich and important -even when they start with the rebellions. And in this game, when they crushed England at the beginning they got simply no competition in the colonial arena (and specially since I blew french opportunity, with a weak England, France could had been a important colonial power, but well I had made enough mistakes as France already, so one more is not that important )

Well, I did not participate in your games before, but why Dutch at the start? The dutch in most games I had played always end rich and important -even when they start with the rebellions. dutch wouldn't have been asclose as important as now if we had a england-port and france in colonial area from start

Not really. Of course we can't have alliances shifting every year, but generally people have been pretty fluid diplomatically. For example, I fought a war today vs two of my traditional allies . It's all about where people's interests lie. And with the Dutch taking an interest in European affairs, things are bound to get very interesting.
