Damn Fredrik, how you send a alliance peace when we agreed to separate. Losing wars is nice and all, but losing them because a diplomatic mistake is annoying (when I already got controled Gasgogne and Rousillon)

Ah, well. We officially start the round of clock war against the Habsburgs. Unless, of course, Spain open their COTs to french traders.

Anyway, 3 provinces taken from the Hasburgs, income is really crappy (from 200 to 120-130, it is really crappy).

Fun session at times but my men were no match for french. I was getting cut down at 6-1 odds at times against HG. Add OE into the mix and you got a 3 hour headache. BTW this is the dirtiest OE i ever seen. Praises to denmark for his bravery.

Using the statistics in the russian site, spanish morale is quite low (we are at the same land tech). I think that if I did't was so angry at the second DOW I could made better use of my troops, but well lesson #1: never fight when annoyed, you make some bad decisions

sorry i unintentional clicked on French sheild as seperate, when i should have pressed on my sheild. i guess i was busy with OE and the clock was like 03.30 at the night here, so i was kind of tired :wacko:

Yeah, I know mistakes happen, but damn it, it was annoying. I think Austria should give me Liguria as compensation :rofl:

Right i think there is a problem with these rules. Everyone told me poland was completely fucked in the war against austria but he was making "comback" so he doesnt have to accept last stab hit?! I fight HG and lose 2 provinces but i have to accept and leave my ally??! He didnt even cross into spain he just took french comte and lorraine. Well ok for everyone else to make this decission cos they dont have to fight french leaders. All france has to do is fight the alliance members and get warscore (using uber leaders, morale) and then force them out of war. Nappy will rip us apart using this system and i think its bullshit. Warscore is mostly bullshit and losing battles shouldnt make me leave a war when i have plenty of manpower and revolts under control. Nations like russia could suffer for this rule aslo if they had enemy. Would be easy to get warscore without even threatening the motherland in any real way. They could then be forced to peace when they are still fine.

In short this rule gives massive advantage to morale/quality/uberleader type nations.

Cheech so I repeat; Im just gonna sit and wait for Prinz Eugene? Austria would/will dow me sooner or later when he got him, so why should I not act while I still have 1 leader? That would be STUPID gameplay. Denmark wont get away for this, I dont care that it is safe up there in the north, it is OE:s main target and I will support any action against it with what I can.

Well thing is, Austria and OE is really soul enemies, OE and Denmark is not, and it really doesnt affect Denmark directly if im strong or not, while it affects OE very much if Austria is strong or not. It actually also annoys me that KJ think I will give him Goa for taking some crappy islands. And I remembered you said KJ "I might even go for Isfahan this one". HAH, good freakin luck, I welcome you!

Well we have to bring in ouside help in this game. OE and france is just too much to cope with. GOA is a luxury anyway im sure you can live without it.

I agree, the rule needs too be changed, the rule should include alliance peace.

Paradox really should fix that bug with lag loans, i took three loans in row when i had over 700D in treasury.
And i think we should edit down Bocaj's lag forts, that shouldn't be allowed, and it's much worse then lag merchants and colonists.

cheech, this is the only chance for example prussia and sweden to succed using there good leaders and moral....but i agree that you should not be forced to make a separate peace against France it seems very crappy...better if the leader of the alliance makes peace thats why you have an alliance ???!!!

yes, you should not be able to force seperate peace, if you dow an alliance you should of course peace the leader of the alliance.
The rule really needs to be change...

Okay, now I'd like to negotiate peace with Poland for next session. If you take a glance at the stats, you can see that Poland has one hell of an inflation rating and lots of loans. This is in addition to 0 MP and losing armies on the battlefield. Event though I have not yet achieved any significant victory (my WS in only 21 yet), I think I have won. Actually it was pretty bad by Byng to start a war that late of the session as a sub, and even worse of course as Poland will probably lose.

Now as peace will be negotiated with Poland's regular player Dago, I have two initial offers to make:

1. My minimum demand in Poznan. It is a core of mine and without an unconditional surrender of it there will be no peace. Poland was the aggressor and I don't see any reason why I should not get a crappy core in return.

2. Poznan + Danzig. Yes Danzig is a CoT, but if Poland gives it to me I will give it 1000 ducats in return, and an agreement of protection by Brandenburg for the next 100 years. That is, if Poland is attacked by any other foreign power Brandenburg will declare war on the aggressor and invade. This agreement also of course also forbids any aggression by Brandenburg's part on Poland during these 100 years. This time limit of protection could be extended to 140 years if Poland can give up some of the ducats.

But its easy to change only add a sentence:

Also Cheech, I want you to enlighten me exactly why you proclaim me as the most dirtiest OE ever. Is helping/get help from my most natural ally France dirty? Is rescuing a nation twice, which is getting raped by my worst enemy, dirty? Is trying to, just like Austria, gain my core provs in Balkan-Hungary dirty? Also considering cores is the best reason to go to war for? Is not dishonouring a single treaty i've had dirty? Is not backstabbing my friends dirty?

The only simple reason why you think im dirty is becuse I attack the Habsburg alliance, which is OE:s by far most natural enemy.
