I know you were there early this week. Since you are the host, are you going to be able to make the start time every week? Especially since you said you would have to come in an hour later.

Well, I'm pulling out. For some odd reason, I couldn't connect to dunkler's IP. It says No Game Found at whatever IP that was in. I could connect to Aragos, though, which was strange.

Thanks for trying to include me, but I guess I was destined for SP.

Hey, just saying hi, may try to sub some night, why ruin a perfectly good country in just ONE game at a time, when I can do many!!

Anyways, Not sure who is playing Two Sicilies, and not sure if you guys are aware of this, but here it is.

When you try to form Italy, it will probably crash the game (it does in my current Languish Vicky MP), what we had to do was this...

The 2S player waits at the pause (it pauses automatically once all the required provinces are taken), ICQ someone to save the game because you won't be able to chat or save it yourself, than once saved, unpause, you'll get the message that Italy forms, and pause/save as fast as you can because once the TAGS change is when you CTD.

If you can catch it in time, save it after the 2S player clicks the pop-up and before the CTD, than when you come back, it'll run fine.

The other method, which is easier, is to save it right before the last Capital falls, let the host run it through in SP, than save/restart the game.

It's easier but than the AI messes up all the other countries trades, etc, while running in SP.

Who is the player for spain and are they the same person that played on saturday? We agreed to an alliance after the game ended so I am making sure that is still valid.

for those of you who seem confused Uncreative is indeed Ben, and i see no reason why we don't have room for him, provided he wishes to be in the for long haul with us. Ben is the player for Spain, he wasn't subbing, he played on saturday with us, and i see him posting in the diplomacy thread as a good thing...

Sorry for the confusion. Anyways yes I'm Ben, and I'm willing to continue as Spain as long as there will still be room. Pacal did sign up to join the game before I did however, if he figures his issues out he'd be #7 and I'll step down and find a different game, or start one. I'll stick around on saturday though and if there is an opening I will be happy to take it.

you are welcome to stay, if you played the first session you shouldnt have to stop. I don't think pacal is going to get his router working, he said it stated that it would not allow certain types of gaming. I think spain is better to have than china anyway

I agree. Pacal couldnt get his system to work properly, so Uncreative is more than welcome to play.

Sterk did a fine job as France the other night.

I dont know about pushing the game forward another hour and then playing for 7. It basically means I get no sleep on Saturday night. Hey, I'm an old man

The only reason I said something about 7 players was because we were so laggy during the early part of the session. I am all for trying to play with more people but can we and still have a good time??

I have to say i am enjoying all the byplay on the diplo thread. It is amazing how many people Sterk was able to piss off in such a short time.

hopefully the lag will be better this time. It seemed better towards the end of the session. I would love to see a human OE, but I'm with CC in that I think we will be pushing the limit of keeping the game stable if we add more than we had this time. Unless we can find a better host of course, but my connection is 3+ MB so it will be tough finding someone faster than that.

Thumbs up on the dip thread also, really livens the game up.

Well, CC, I did do that on purpose, you know. I'm not so stupid or incompetent as to think that threatening the US would actually get me anywhere but closer to war. But I like conflict, verbal or otherwise, between nations that is, as long as it doesn't become between players (read: Cardenal Infant).
