Sangeli's 1941 Scenario

This will the first multiplayer I have played so I am not too familiar to the various versions people use for MP or things of that nature. Because I plan on being Germany, first and foremost I need someone to be the Soviet Union. After that someone as GB or US would be nice but not necessary; I kinda just want to duel the Soviet Union. I don't have a specific time I need to play and I can be flexible. I am at -8 so someone else on the west coast would be best but I could manage with someone on the east coast. However, I want to be flexible in choosing the times which I suppose is fine if there is just one other person. As I said, I'm not too familiar with the different game versions so if you have a preference just tell me what the modifications are for it. Well, my hours are kinda variable but I probably can make room for any day from 4:30 to 10:00 PT (-8). Also, I like playing the 1939 and 41 scenario because I like the historical aspect. But I suppose if you want we can play an earlier scenario, but there is a problem with that. For example, If I'm Germany and you're the Soviet Union there will be much time that I'm going really slow (i.e. pausing a lot during the battles against Poland and France) while you're just building up. Also, I think that the 1941 scenario is really balanced because while the Germans might be more powerful than the Soviet Union, Germany has to worry about the west and north Africa while the Soviet Union doesn't. Playing against someone is not to strategically beat them (i.e. out research and outbuild); doing that against the computer is just as hard, but to tactically beat them, which the computer really can't do. Thus, the 1941 scenario is most prefered by me.

I'm sorry i'm afraid we will not be able to play the game. I havn't admited in a first place that you r from LA. it's 8 hours difference. I live in london. my available hours mon-fri 19.00-23.00 GMT and Saturday, Sanday usually all day . sometimes only sanday. In general gprobably you r right it's better to play 39/41 campaing if there just a two people in the game, like u said :USSR and Germany. if there are more that two and some of them playing allies Germany will not have a chance to stand, in this case 36 scenaro is better . it gives to germany more time to prepare.

Well, we actually can play on the weekends. I have no problem playing at 11 AM on a saturday or sunday, the only probelm is that occasionally I have something to do on saturday and I would need to find a different time. Anyway, I'd be happy to play a weekly saturday game. The only concern, as I said, is that I need to be able to inform you if I'm busy and reschedule but I can easily do that more than 24 hours in advance. Personally, I'd prefer a game after 9:30 GMT on sundays so I could watch football but on saturday I could start potentially at 5 pm GMT. So, all in all, our game can still work. Lastly, are you OK with a 1941 standard scenario, I as Germany you as Soviet Union?

If you mean 5 pm ET then I can't do it; I'm on the west coast. Besides, we were arranging a saturday or sunday game which you can join if you want. You can be US or GB since Germany and USSR are already taken. Note that this is the 1941 scenario so the US is not at war to begin.

Yah, theres no way it can work. I'm in LA so 5pm ET is 2 pm PT, right in the middle of the day. My game will just be with Alex unless someone else decides to join.
