Would it be possible for you to make a separate chat screen with one color like apex has. Party chat can be a pain to see and with the different colors especially blue it is almost impossible to read. If I had that and the ability to enlarge font and the UI it would be wonderful!

He had a nice modded interface in HnH, so I'm sure it is on his todo list. Funny whenever somebody gets party colour dark blue nobody listens to them.

Lovely new shapes for the radar, I really want to be able to use my own images but shapes is definitely helping sort the radar clutter already!

It seems that ender client was removed from dropbox, and it was location where client was checking updates and validating files. Until it will be placed there again, or recoded to search elsewere... WE ARE DOOMED!

Yes this is indeed bad news... I wonder how 98 people are still playing? did they really switch to normal client?

edit: So was it perhaps the Ender client that caused the server crash? :)

this client is crap, completely unstable and crashes constantly. matter of when and not if this thing will get you killed in it's current implementation.

teleporting to boston/home causes the client to crash a lot.

opening chests where more than one new item has to load causes crashes a lot.

fighting/combat initiating and the "crunchy" sound effect from hits causes the client to crash a lot.

in/out of houses/mines causes the client to crash a lot.

walking around for a while and generating a few megabyte chunk of map will cause the client to crash.

randomly doing nothing will cause the client to crash.

another thing is when it crashes it leaves you in game, because the client is still loaded and operating you just cant access it and in order to log your character out to get back in game you have to manually stop the javaw.exe process, lots of folks do not know that and are likely to stay logged in game for hours unable to log in.

fix the stability issues and it would be a good client, currently as it stands and particularly in a permadeath game the primary use this has is flattening land inside a walled claim.

If the client crashes, it would be helpful to post any error reports generated. Problems can't get fixed if nobody knows what the problem is. I don't recall if there's a special location to post these or not (didn't see anything in the OP). Use
Code:
or [spoiler] blocks so the report doesn't take up extra space for those that don't want to see it.

This is an issue with the core code. It's a frequent bug report. Part of being in a beta test is learning what the current list of bugs are. Tonkyhonk has done an excellent job maintaining a list here on the Paradox forums and there is a bug tracker. As has been pointed out many times, this is only a two man team. Since there's a very easy way to avoid this issue, it hasn't been a priority (that I can tell). Simply make sure to use the logout command. Type ":lo" (not in the chat box) to log out of the game before exiting. (Also useful for switching characters.)

I, and many others, have been using this client for a while without any crashes (running JavaSE v6 and whatever the latest build is on WinXP myself). I think some of the issues have to do with your computer, but there could be a few bugs here related to the mods made.

I use the client with the most up-to-date version of Java 7. Zero problems, although I did discover a crash bug when filling a bucket with milk of lime from a barrel. And it was promptly fixed.

I don't know if the author of the ender client takes note of this thread, but i would like to suggest something.

Currently when clicking chat the chatbox will cover all your "icons" lower left corner. would it be possible to bring up the chat and have the icons still show somehow? i just find it annoying that i have to click -chat -chat to remove the chat window, and then -chat to bring it up again when i have clicked the icon i needed (and yes i know some of the icons have hotkeys assigned to them)

Or maybe just collapse them into a single button that shows a popup when clicked. I just use hotkeys for these things and would love to make the buttons go away all together.
