So... we didn't learn what happened last time modded clients were implemented in a Seatribe game? It practically killed all challenge of foraging and random encounters with beasts/people being unexpected. :/

 you dont have to use it when you're after all the challenges. you should enjoy the game your way.
the thing is, having a trustworthy public custom client will prevent players from falling for shady ones, and would prevent only a few groups of players from getting too huge advantages over others.
of course, if paradox is so sure that theyre capable of enforcing rules, bans and stuff, then that could be a different story.

I'm not saying I don't want to use it; it's magical. However, it'll end in tears, as my mother would say.

Why to get Ender's Client:
Trying to forage something in particular without: 20-40 minutes.
Trying to forage something in particular with: 2-4 minutes. If that.

If you like to challenge your eyes - don't use this client, or just turn radar off. But most people don't want to strain their eyes. If thing is visible to client, it should be visible to player. If server don't want player to see some things, then it don't send them to client. Most MMO's don't work like that, but Salem does. So why should I strain my eyes to see something server wants me to see?

Because finding things is supposed to be a challenge?

The dev team supports the existence of this client, and the competitive advantage is utterly undeniable. You get 2-3x as many forageables, not to mention the hardest to see ones.

It's either or. Everyone or no-one should have radar. If others have it, you need it to be competitive, simple as that.

If you're a casual player, that's a different story though.

I'd hate to be trouble, but could anyone educate me as to how we can change the radar colors around? Things like arrowheads and feathers are borderline the same color as chestnuts and such for me, and I'd love to change that.

Is it possible to place a marker on your home and maybe have an arrow point to it on the mini map so I can travel more than 50 feet away from home without fear of losing everything?

To get rid of the annoying popup box:

Make an alt and leave him at your home. Then you can always head back to where he is.

Also, Seatribe should just hire Ender to make the game client while they work on the actual game.
