Sistan does sound nice, but we can't take their core back since it's their capital. We'd need to annex it, then hand it over to our vassals.
I dont get that sentence.
You just give the siege over to your Vassal and give it to them like a conquest peacedeal.
The AE and Dipcost is the same either way. Thankfully they fixed that a few patches ago.

They did?

SH*T... there was a bug where costs were increased without being displayed, making it a horrible choice. 1.17 I think.
They fixed it unintentionally, but I was convinced a variation of it still lived on.

Thanks for the info, I was mistaken apparently.
That changes a lot!

Sidenote: Perfect example of game knowledge hurting gameplay. So many bugs to remember once you get really deep into the game, you tend to lose track of all of them after a while.
I already miss Gnivom :( Loved his QoL improvements.

Your help is extraordinarily effective atm because the AAR has caught up with gameplay due to my hiatus.
Ohhhh, I will take a good look at the map once I get the chance to jump in again :D

Im talking about the fact that a reconquest war used to only allows core return to some specific nations.
Nowadays you can return cores to anyone for 0 Dip and you can get nations there cores back by giving them the province directly.
The only difference, still, is that core return gives almost 0 PP while giving the same provinces to you Vassal directly as his cores gives it in full.

A few quick ones. No time to waste. War against the Ottoman Empire is on the horizon.

zO9nxHD.jpg

Seems fair.
Ottoman Empire got called in so they don't get any stupid ideas. Can't have them expand.

ypiRdTk.jpg

Stackwipes, carpet sieging, the usual. At least 1 mil tech ahead of every enemy. Get ready for some sloppy, sloppy gameplay.

S51P8Qz.jpg

Ajuuran is still at war with everything. There won't be any coalition member south of us.
Progress is looking good. Will be even better once we've integrated Haasa.

F45RUgU.jpg

How? Why? Doesn't matter. His silver tongue seemed to have slipped. Can't make use of the cb sadly. Could've needed it later. Can't plan for RNG.

rzfAZwB.jpg

Our old monarch leaves us. May he rest in peace. Regency council ends before our truce with QQ is up. We won't lose much except for a few opportunistic wars that may be a possiblity some time in the future. Probably the best possible timing for him to die.

We're moving towards mysticism for the second time in our campaign. Gotta convert a few of those +15 dev provinces and our wars move us away from Legalism.

9AGTmK8.jpg

Avaria is out. Landlocked, can't take anything.

PzczHn3.jpg

Ajam is even worse. 370 days and only 7%. Kazan sieges our main land and we eat devastation. Good play is the opposite of what you're watching, but it doesn't hurt much.

9fRvvAq.jpg

9k vs 7k suffices for stackwipes. Moving on.
A few tooltips appear. The Ottoman Empire has elected a new ruler.

ybKUIFV.jpg

That's a first.
He's a militarist who isn't interested in any of our provinces.
Did they change the effect at 100 trust? How exactly does this work?
Confusing, but helpful. A militarist leading the Ottoman Empire doesn't desire any of our provinces.
Okay.

rLlKYVE.jpg

Ajam got reduced to <100%. Could've taken more, but we can't go overboard with AE if we plan to attack our western ally.
Coalition members die one after the other. A lot faster than to wait for it to die out.

a7y2XTD.jpg

Astrakhan disappears as well, Genoa uses the opportunity to expand a bit into Crimea who are guaranteed by the Ottoman Empire again.
Printing Press spawns January 1550.

sEJ8WRp.jpg

YES!
The Ottoman Empire joins immediately, protestants are already looking menacing after only a few months with France joining them as well.

Crimea collapses to rebels. Welcome back, Astrakhan.
Great for us. An important center of trade owned by a nation without allies. We declare war on them as well as Qara Qoymlu

6EKJF9Y.jpg

Took you long enough.
Crimea declares on Theodoro. Poor sap, but we can't help them now.

WB4MuL0.jpg

We close another chapter by removing them forever.
Haasa is being integrated again and we repay a loan we had to take after getting hit by an event.

jXbVE8G.jpg

Not even 20 years old and already dead? Won't complain. 5/6/4 is amazing.

Next truce to run out is Mamluks in 1558. More than enough time for leagues to declare and us to jump the Ottoman Empire.

4odgGJw.jpg

Astrakhan gets vassalized for its cores on Kazan and because we can't take their provinces directly.

8EXHSTC.jpg

100% LA forever. Truly a great event for our vassal Haasa. We may reduce LA manually later on.

tx05c9F.jpg

AE is looking great. The nobility's advisor gets hired to further reduce it. Our leader has silver tongue, giving us another +20% improved relations.

IoVnLJs.jpg

Gotta love that event. 3/3/3 with a weak claim or 4/5/1 consort.
Our ruler is 20 years old and we have tons of royal marriages with out vassals. More than enough time for an heir, we use the girl as a bargaining chip.

mPUvSw8.jpg

No ships will be built unless we can pirate Sevilla. Maybe it's possible already? Need to check
Circassia sounds easier. We take the mission, threaten war, finish it for monthly autonomy reduction and increase autonomy in the province immediately.

RACowg0.jpg

4/1/3 may not be great, but we'll take it. We can disinherit later on, for now we really don't need any heir events to interrupt our campaign.

MzBwn5u.jpg

Theodoro got fully annexed by Crimea, we get bored and decide to wipe out two more potential coalition members.

zEuopKv.jpg

Stackwipes lest and right, carpet sieging mode engaged, another quick one for the books.

The Ottoman Empire is receiving lots of gifts, we wonder why that may be.

cqXtohn.jpg

Already? Completely missed it. Time to fabricate and to move our troops into position.
Anatolia is going to burn.

First we need to wrap up our cute war though.

Dp0znDy.jpg

Sure, why not.

3QK3r7A.jpg

Gazimukh got fully annexed, Nogai will get their white peace as soon as our siege is done, troops are in position.

vOEkWP8.jpg

After integrating Haasa and removing the mole that was QQ we're starting to look beautiful on the map.

riSvO2l.jpg

No time to return cores to our vassal Atrakhan, we grant them a white peace and fully annex Biapas.

Re5Ev6z.jpg

A quick look at our achievement progress. Got delayed a bit by focusing on Persia for the second achievement, but it's okay.
Mahra will be a full part of our empire soon, a claim has been fabricated and we're ready to storm Anatolia.

Gotta take a break. This will be a big one.

Okay.

militarist allies never flag your cored stuff, they will only flag it as strategic utility if you take land which has a claim of theirs.

if you take their flagged stuff yourself, you will get huge wants your provinces until you core the land. then AI will re-shuffle vital interest away.

Wow... that stuff is same-culture land. Turkish even. They don't even want that after I've cored it?
Beautiful, thank you so much.

Since they won't attack it seems like its our duty to attack them. That's how politics work, right?

Onwards! Into Anatolia!
Disclaimer: The following session shouldn't be read if you have more than 10 hours of experience...

0VV5qij.jpg

We start off by breaking the alliance and sending them an insult, getting em below 0 opinion in hopes of them breaking our royal marriage to save us a stab hit.
Why not just rival them and save a few months? Because you touch yourself at night.

riMJXwD.jpg

Russia refuses to join, so instead of paying off their loans we invest favors to get the +20 modifier "prepared for war".
At least we'll get to build a factory, which we promptly forget about.

T8E82aZ.jpg

We wait until a province gets unsieged so we can peace out and take provinces in case we need to flee quickly, start carpet sieging and realize we forgot to put something in Trebizond. We arrive too late to get Sinop, which is getting sieged down by Genoa instead.

aKGMrYk.jpg

Increasing autonomy everywhere indiscriminately in hopes of nothing exploding despite several provinces being close to 100% already.
At least our maneuvers pay off. We catch a few minor stacks and can start sieging down forts.

HMio1zF.jpg

Thanks to our timing we at least have a very strong position. League wars firing that early was interesting. Spain joining catholics early enough was great as well.

Ek5umbV.jpg

Despite all that Austria is already sitting at -40 from combat.
Great sign. Ottoman troops are far away, wiping out Europeans.
We forget setting both war leaders as nations of interest and aren't able to observe league wars properly.

Brathe in, breathe out
meditate-smiley-emoticon.gif

sJ0PmSL.jpg

Turks are getting absolutely showered in gifts. Their total over the course of the war will add up to 1.500 ducats.
We realize we've forgotten about our stack next to Crimea, which in return has been able to recruit additional soldiers after not getting wiped immediately.
We send over a stack to correct that mistake.

DOYJGHA.jpg

We forgot to cozy up to Commonwealth, preventing us from getting access to anything west of the strait.
AI decides Klagenfurt is the greates bookmarket in the world. We can live with that. Not like we could claim that reading is one of Hisn Kayfa's strengths right now.

YBownwy.jpg

Thankfully our mistakes are being corrected by absolutely everyone else.
12 months after the war has started, Commonwealth grants military access to Crimea.
We immediately jump over and avoid peacing them out.
Our first manufactory is being built and we decide to patrol Anatolia while minor stacks infiltrate the Ottoman's north when suddenly

QZKOH2y.jpg

Spain comes to our rescue. Where's the turkish fleet? Who cares. The stack they left is getting wiped and we set over the strait right into Edirne.
Revolts are popping up left and right and we're tempted to look at their progress. Decide against it though. Looking at your enemy's rebels is a no-no if you want to play fair.
Pretty sure they already fixed the exploit where you could accept their demands for your enemy anyways.
Anatolia is starting to become a minefield.

FjUzWdR.jpg

We arrive too late to siege Koaceli. The Knights lead the charge instead. Place 2k in hopes of them leaving, rest invades the west.

sPuMFZc.jpg

1 or 2 province entry points mean the AI is unable to enter in most cases. Russia is pretty much out of this war and won't help anymore. We are now at a disadvantage.
Minor stacks have been wiped, major ones are still north. Edirne gets greeted with a barricade.

Nurvg04.jpg

Edirne falls and we remember semi-dynamic ZoC. Current troops can move further, new troops won't be able to reinforce because life is like a penis: Sometimes hard without a reason.

arMvLPc.jpg

Remember Crimea's troops? We didn't. Time to recruit up to force limit and kick them out of the war.
Their military access isn't needed anymore.

SlIzjr1.jpg

Zagros forces us to start dancing with Crimea. We move north, they move south. We move south, they move north.
We get frustrated and split our troops to catch them.

t5UIUgT.jpg

Crimea is out, a few provinces get picked up. AE is massive already anyways. Crimea has more than 100% WS so full annexation is out of the question.
We force them to release Theodoro because we love the little bugger :)
Costs us ~60 dip points, but it's not like the past decade has been an example of good gameplay anyways. Let's have some fun for once.

Welcome back, tiny one :)

9nkGgoD.jpg

Truce with Mamluks is up soon. Genoa gets the fort in Bükres because we're too slow once again. What's the worst that could happen?

GryGBWt.jpg

568363v9kx6xu2g5.gif

This session, I swear to god.
Gotta love the game sometimes :D

D2Ya76V.jpg

Too late to the siege on Sinop, but we get all surrounding provinces.
1k sitting on it in case Knights peace out. Forts don't unsiege surrounding provinces as long as they're under siege, even if it's insufficient.

Why haven't Mamluks joined the coalition against us yet? We'd be dead if they did.

wJ5SBuu.jpg

Wow, nice, great, beautiful, lovely.
Always remember kids: Luck is a skill and candy is never free
Should we jump Mamluks? Ehh...

yZxqvks.jpg

Without troops in range, Yemen sitting above 100% WS (they developed a province 2 months ago) and sieges going great as usual... Nah, we decide against it.
Rebels are undoing Austria's work and we take over for additional warscore.

IQdGpNy.jpg

We finally break through and... what's that in Athens?
Uh, anyone in the mood for catholic Ottomans? Difficult, but possible.

1OPtYcV.jpg

The Ottoman Empire is offering cash.
Nice try. Tunis gives up and Mamluks are ready to join a coalition. WS is still atrocious because Constantinople refuses to fall.
Could be a close one, but in all honesty: We'd deserve it it if it were to happen.

sBHg8Gs.jpg

If only they could declare right now...

6PciZoP.jpg

Our siege3 general with max cannons takes 420 days. Thematic. Outsiders watching probably think we're blazed.
Our favorite part of war begins: Rally point sniping.
Not as fun as template sniping used to be, but hey, never look a gift warscore in the... mouth... something... we are winning, who needs good puns?

PSWgVg5.jpg

Considering the state of affairs, Europe is looking rather uneffected by anything.
Is everyone just butting heads without ever finishing a siege? Austria is controlling more Anatolian provinces than both parties control European provinces combined.

This is starting to look bad.
We are taking out their strongest enemy, gifting them a win and yet they manage to sit on -50 from battles.
Peace of Westphalia incoming.

We get 1 stability for free and decide to increase stab before clicking the event to avoid the 'positive stability' cost modifier, bringing us to 2.
Not really needed, but it's not like we've been stellar so far. Why not take a few more chances.

lj3rR7i.jpg

Yea, that's a peace of Westphalia if I've ever seen one.
No way they can recover from -40 including max ticking warscore.

HzuV1VC.jpg

Even more nations join the coalition and Ottos are almost ready to accept our peace.
We decide to tentacle. Won't get another chance to pass the strait anytime soon.
Trebizond tries to revolt (still? why?) and we place a stack on them.
Shut up or we'll shut you up.

ox8kagt.jpg

Two disease outbreaks in a row later we have concluded that Fortuna is drunk. We grab a beer to get on her good side.

xROCkMx.jpg

Austria peaced out the Turks. Good for us. Got some WS to pick up. Belgrad falls and we're only centimeters away from our desired peacedeal.
Catholic rebels had to get killed to prevent them from taking our fort sadly.
No catholic Ottomans today. Would've made the game hilariously complex, but we don't have the resources to pull it off.

Osmanoglu's troops come through Slavonia and we make a run for it.

DlsfPtb.jpg

Even more rebels pop up. Navigating the minefield trying to walk only through provinces without unrest or entering+leaving them in the same month has stopped being fun a while ago. Watching them wreck Anatolia hasn't :D

Where's the rest of their troops and why is Ryazan unhappy?

RWwLzpn.jpg

SOUND THE ALARM!
This is... less than suboptimal.
Horrifying to be clear. Absolutely horrifying.
Our lapdog is not our lapdog anymore and Russia is down on cash, manpower, anything.
We are still suffering from annexed subjects after annexing Haasa.

Time to play at least semi-decent again. Ledgers get checked for 20 minutes and we conclude that we are royally fucked.
With a cactus.
No lube.

Current coalition is almost as strong as us, the potential coalition would straight up destroy our nation.

oQZoBqz.jpg

No way we're giving them a good peacedeal. Our only chance to smash them and we're taking it. Coalition be damned.
We made the bed we're lying in and we made it out of rusty nails and used needles.

Finances are down the drain because Persia still belongs to our vassals, Arabia is dirt and we are sitting at max FL.
At least we can finally upgrade to Empire rank.
Always knew we're an Empire. No need to tell me, thank you.

fB99cWN.jpg

Let them come. Let them all come.
One at a time please... pretty please?
BE GENTLE

Time for some absurd theorycrafting.
Afghanistan and Kazan can both be taken out of the coalition together with all their allies.
May incite the coalition to declare though.
Alternatively we could jump Yemen (allied to Mamluks) in 1561 if we manage to survive until then.
Can't take Mamluks provinces though without setting them as co-belligerent because AE has become absurd, even in north Africa. Tunis and Morocco are almost ready to join.
Mamluks themselves won't notice. They're sitting at something like -500 AE already.

Rebels are popping up absolutely everywhere, we're still losing money, corruption is increasing and PP drops below 50.

All in all we're going to face forces twice our strength in the next few decades if everything goes well unless we somehow manage to get Russia back in and Mamluks randomly decide to leave the coalition.
If we misplay we'll have to lose a war and release a few nations.

Not an option.
Humans never lose a war against AI nations. It is impossible.

Time to grab a coffee...

Is it worth it to culture convert those malcontents in Trebizond to put those rebels to bed for all time?

No separatism left. Once they're converted they'll stay silent.
It's kind of a fun run after all (maybe 3k dev needed for both achievements?) and they've been hilarious so far. Having a certain province rebel for over 100 years? Almost a running gag :D

Besides, dip points are actually scarce because I created a vassal swarm, then picked up dip ideas instead of influence.
Too lazy to change.

It's really minor compared to macro decisions, as always. 1 stack won't make a difference. Me messing up truce cycling was a lot worse

Everything's better with coffee.

6W0yvCT.jpg

Out of options. Taking 30k out of the coalition. Remaining numbers look decent.
Zero troops in position, no forts, very open frontline.

PC5qxtk.jpg

Timmies have a few rebel issues, both vassals get sieged down immediately.
DoW overview is tricky. Our vassal's troops are far away and fairly useless.
Morale isn't great either. All our enemies have picked up defensive ideas.

3VZrHwn.jpg

Rebels from Edirne get transformed to religious rebels and immediately pop Cyprus which was sitting at 0.3 unrest.
Truce with Ajam is up. Couldn't fabricate in time. They will join as well.
Bad planning. Transoxiania couldn't join since they're at war with us and we could've vassalized Oman.

FZvWXRa.jpg

uhuh.gif

CHf9Ruw.jpg

Our troops finally arrive with our vassal's still being far away.

Austria has to accept the peace of Westphalia, as expected.
Won't influence our run in any way, nice to see nonetheless. Has become somewhat of a unicorn these days.

ZROrTs6.jpg

Hormuz takes a detour to unsiege Fars' provinces. As long as they leave our provinces we're fine with it.
At least 2 mil techs ahead of every enemy, but morale is troubling.

Finances start to stabilize a bit and we go on the offensive.

mvvKfHC.jpg

AE is just a number
Fars gets peaced out for 3 provinces and our vassals finally come back.

KTwwBJ0.jpg

You know how they say morale is king?
Mil tech advantage (Afghanistan is sitting at 10), flanking advantage, more cannons and yet we're having trouble to finish them off quickly.
Transoxia manages to reinforce and our troops are getting sent home packing.
Their casualties are higher, and we're gaining tons of manpower.

Manpower has become the only resource that isn't scarce. Keeps repleneshing even during wars.

BjJYyYF.jpg

We kick out Baluchistan, gaining 34 measly ducats. Our enemies numbers haven't decreased at all.

Here's where things start to get difficult to explain.

VR6cZTj.jpg

Ajam declares on Fars, which is allied to Hormuz, one of our enemies.
This is detrimental.
We have peaced out Fars, but can not peace out Hormuz. They only have one fort we can reach, their capital + lvl2 fort are worth more development than all their other provinces.
Oman joining Ajam's war (remember: They're allied) means they get to the fort faster than us, us having just recalled a stack from the frontline to get rid of Hormuz' troops.
Building ships is out of the question and wouldn't make sense either way. No reason to invest hundreds of ducats for a single war.
Never planned to actually take provinces from Hormuz and we don't plan to any time soon.

Long story short: We can't white peace Hormuz anymore, but they can run around being a pest.

Another thing that's rather new, at least for me: Transoxiania can sustain a disgusting number of forts.
2 directly bordering timmies, one is a bit north, 2 are behind the popup. There is no way to carpet siege and flip em off like you'd usually do with bigger nations in that region.
Making a run for their capital isn't possible either. Morale is king. An abusive, drunk king who hates our guts.

We manage to catch a stack in the deserts of Konjikala.

0EgQKDB.jpg

Good enough. Wipe some minor stacks, ignore the bigger ones.
We catch Hormuz as well, but they are very much unwilling to accept a white peace just for that.
30k troops are nowhere to be seen because they're busy whacking rebels in Crimea and Anatolia (Cyprus' rebels teleported to Edirne).

DGZnjhK.jpg

Some much needed warscore nonetheless. We're starting to think about alternatives. Already got 3 provinces and there's not much to gain here.
Original goal was to kick them out of the coalition.
Still, truce with Ottos is up in '74. Would be nice to have them trucelocked during that war.

Milan is asking for military access for no reason.

CmfFMGM.jpg

Still... no reason.
Need to ask Brabant later how they managed to get into a punitive war. They own a measly 8 provinces.
Oh yea, those provinces have dev, unlike ours.
Cute coalition. Would like to order the same.

And now for the big star, the main event, the unheard of, unbelievable

otMb3KW.jpg

birth of Hisn Kayfa's navy!
One transport to unsiege Cyprus. One ship is called a navy, right?

4WrSE15.jpg

Hormuz keeps getting caught. We placed a stack north, a stack south, walk 2 provinces away, they try to unsiege, we wipe them.
Rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

Yemen joins the coalition amongst several other nations.
But why?

CXHyAIw.jpg

Disgusting.

They're one reason away from not defending Livonian order. Problem is, they have +5 from dip rep.
We're overextended and are still suffering from annexed subjects. No way they'd defend us.
We increase trust and hope it'll suffice. Favors should come in just in time for our DoW against the Ottoman Empire.

42JSHk7.jpg

Mil tech 13 gets unlocked, artillery starts to be useful in combat.
Not worth the price in combat, but we're sieging half the time anyways. 10% ratio has long been thrown out the window. We're closer to 25% now.

We debase.

No choice really. Main reason to debase instead of loaning is a negative balance delaying a gift by up to 2 months.
First you can't do it because your income is negative.
Next month you can't gift them because ..

Not a typo. The reason is ".".
They still haven't fixed that one and I'm not willing to risk another two months.

JTZaNt1.jpg

Five wipes, no army left, zero provinces unoccupied except their capital and fort, which is being sieged down by Oman and we still can't get a white peace.
Jesus Christ, what do we have vassals for?

Fun fact: Zero ships have been deleted or defeated so far.
None of our vassals had any in the past, none of them have any now.
They follow our example.

nSXVUJP.jpg

Quick overview.
Frontline is being moved forward to get Afghanistan down. We're not interested in this war anymore.
Vassal's fort are completely worthless. Their provinces get more traffic than pornhub on Valentine's day.

Our heir falls ill.
Wanted to kill him off anyways so we pray for his life.
To be taken by Beelzebub.

nWdqxPS.jpg

Successfully. The dark lord rewards us with an incorruptible 3/4/5.

4uKnlrN.jpg

We catch a few more stacks, kill more rebels and Timmies get an administrator who isn't an administrator.
The word is still in caps and far from correct. Not that it matters, just good to know that you always have to check.

EtsKToB.jpg

Not worth the hassle.
An advisor for dip rep gets hired, hoping to get on Russia's good side and to continue integrating vassals.
Mazandaran will get integrated as well. They only have one remaining core on Transoxiania and Khorosan has a core on that province as well.

Difficult to convey how stressful this war has been.
Constantly checking a DoW on Livonian order to see Russia's reasons against joining, praying we don't get declared on until 1565 (annexed subjects runs out) and sending them cash every now and then.

Finances are stable again. Corruption can be rooted out and we look around for another ally.
Can't continue playing on the edge. Getting almost smashed isn't fun. Bahmanis or Mewar will become our best friend soon.

Time for a decade of peace. The Ottoman Empire needs to be put in place, vassals will get integrated.

An unsettling mix of fear and silence. Let's improve relations and hope for the best.

Just kidding. A normal ally suffices. We pick Bahmanis.

B5JhauF.jpg

People start leaving almost immediately. Russia is loyal again and Bahmanis is our closest friend.
May need them against Mewar. Do I have the provinces needed to form Persia? Eh, we'll see.
Time for some fun.

7ocCVpY.jpg

An exciting time of absolutely nothing but people leaving our coalition.

dOadO5m.jpg

AE isn't the issue. There would be more than enough available for pretty much every muslim nation in the world to join. Even Bengal got -60.

We get another event for 10 navy tradition. Our mothballed transport will be the single strongest unit on the map soon. All according to plan.

Avaria is allied to Theodoro, knowing that we'd never hurt our compagnion.

SisVI6n.jpg

We vassalize them once again and declare on Avaria for a lack of better things to do.

Welcome back. Your family missed you a lot

2Y1wh2b.jpg

Fast forward, Astrakhan is growing a bit through threaten war, Mahra got integrated, Mewar has started digging into our neighbourhood.
Glad we picked Bahmanis as our ally.

uRVDKxr.jpg

Ottos are at war again. We're equally strong, but their allies include Bremen and Crimea. Ours is Russia. Anything they acquire will be ours to take later.
Russia FINALLY declares on Kazan for the first time this game.
Way too late. We don't need them to be strong anymore.

ANrwQVW.jpg

Haven't even integrated Persia yet, still got Egypt to take. This will be a fair fight at worst.
Defensive ideas get unlocked to pick up some morale, Hormuz gets threatened to make sure they're not in a coalition while we're at war with the Ottoman empire.
Not the best timing. Should've waited.

England calls for a crusade against the Turks for the second time this campaign. Only after all of their enemies have been completely stomped of course.
Maybe the british Empire didn't want to interrupt their battle and watch their allies get torn to pieces instead. How polite.

Ethiopia is doing us a huge favor by blobbing left and right, getting rid of muslims everywhere.
They're coptic. Eating Muslims barely generates any AE with them, especially in Anatolia and Persia.

wmPWIuJ.jpg

Fast forward again, the war is over and it's hilarious to watch.
They've taken exactly the provinces needed not to border Commonwealth while aggrevating everyone around them at the same time.
An alliance with Commonwealth was possible before. Neither of them had POI on each other. Now it's not possible anymore.

Mostly silent session until

JuYEhE0.jpg

They're still allied to our old allies
shades_smile.gif

Meanwhile Ajam decides to eat Fars, which has gotten reduced to an OPM in prior wars.

co7PBAZ.jpg

Not even sure why we're even paying Russia to join. Distraction, I guess.
Still baffled about Commonwealth's decision.
Maximum gain is 2 provinces. You really gonna fight the Ottoman Empire for that?
loco.gif

0vHxJpn.jpg

Should I merc just to be safe?
icon_lol.gif

8o9C3GX.jpg

jIQbrOh.jpg

Ottos are already at one loan. Not sure if their debt will increase.
We'll be in, out and done faster than my neighbour last night (close your window, Antonio).

R78qr3c.jpg

Transoxiania grew quite a bit, but the land they got is the usual dirt without additional forts.
Ohhh, there's a fun little trick here. We'll get to it later.

Ottos are almost fully covered already without combat. We cut off PLC who never got past Besarabia.

sslrrlk.jpg

No exaggeration. Russia wiped Crimea at the start of the war. Nothing else happened so far.
Peaceful warfare :)

Oh wait, they're in Turda. Hi!

fVh4zjN.jpg

And goodbye
bj.gif

GhxesaE.jpg

Mazandaran got integrated. Astrakhan is next. Ottos are down and done.
Dithmarschen is helping everyone left and right and has stopped growing. France never got anything rolling. Spain is, well, Spain.

aZnQhaz.jpg

No clue who fought in this war. Certainly wasn't us. Not a single battle.

Our ally Bahmanis decides to follow the PLC's example and declares war on a two province minor who is Ming's tributary.
As usual.

tWhegG9.jpg

Unusual. Ming is losing. Hard.

Was a lot quicker than expected. Think that'll be it for tonight.
Maybe a quick one later. Transoxiania has a ton of cores I desire.

No actual plans are being made. Time to eat left, right and center.

i've seen it happen!

Bahmanis or Mewar will become our best friend soon.

in all honesty, you should have allied bahmanis WAY sooner. Your run is starting to look like my hisn kayfa :p

move capital to europe and devle into all trade company land and all that.

but i think you'll hardly need it for the achievement.

We get another event for 10 navy tradition. Our mothballed transport will be the single strongest unit on the map soon. All according to plan.
