Looks good, although I might suggest removing "Hostilities between the two great empires decreased remarkably following the treaty as their relations steadily improved until 1722 when war broke out again. However, the treaty was dusted off and renewed in 1747" from both. Those sentences aren't totally accurate, as I'm not sure relations steadily improved but rather the two empires were busy with other theaters. After all, the Safavids encouraged uprisings against the Ottomans in Iraq in the late 17th century.

I dont know it: Are there events for the end of the raign of Abbas I. for limiting the inlfluence of the turk dominated military by building christian slaves military units?

If not it could include these choices:

Build up Christian slave troops
Centralisation +2
Pluto. +1
Serfdom +1
Qualtiy -2
stab -2
gold -150
gain 10.000 infantry and 5 cannons in random prov
loose 5000 cavalry
land invest +200
revolts in 2 provinces

Depend on the turk military
Centralisation -2
Pluto. -1
stab +1
Quality +1
land invest +100

You would have to add as a trigger either ownership of the Georgian kingdoms lands or as vassals to PER since most of their Christian units came from the Caucasus. Also add revoltrisk (if not random revolt) to simulate the rival factions.

Furthermore the Georgians at the Safavid Court in time reached comparable power to the Ottoman Janissiaries through royal Bagratid daughters & sisters joining the Shah's harem, their military prowess & the political power gained through Shah's appointment to high posts. Another event following following yours.

I have events for this but they aren't ready for release.

I'm going through the PER leaders and found the below. Just checking is it the same Rustam Khan who later becomes Vali\King of Kartli-Kakheti (if so I'll update the name and dates) or another person with same name?

Code:
historicalleader = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0104802 }
	category = general
	name = "Rustam Khan"
	startdate = {
		year = 1630
	}
	deathdate = {
		day = 1
		month = march
		year = 1643
	}
	rank = 2
	movement = 3
	fire = 2
	shock = 3
	siege = 0
	dormant = no
}

@Garbon - for your Ghulam (aka Christian slaves) events, have you added leaders such as Imam-Quli Khan or Mourav Beg (aka Giorgi Saakadze during PER service) to your leaderlist? If so pls let me know so I don't duplicate it. Thx.

In monarchs.bae, Rustam Khan is:
Code:
historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 018008 }
	startdate = {
		year = 1605
	}
	deathdate = {
		year = 1656
	}
	name = "Rostom"
	DIP = 8
	ADM = 8
	MIL = 6
	dormant = no
}
See BAE_349050 "Rostom, the Muslim king".

But there is a problem when Kakheti is not vassal of Safavids for Rostom to be king (and other Muslim rulers after Teimuraz I.).

Btw, typo:
Code:
historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 018006 }
	startdate = {
		day = 12
		month = march
		year = 1605
	}
	deathdate = {
		year = 1605
	}
	name = "Kon[COLOR=Yellow]s[/COLOR]tantini I."
	DIP = 4
	ADM = 3
	MIL = 4
	dormant = no
	remark = "killed his father on persian behalf, died in battle"
}

Still doesn't answer my question, same person or not? Btw my research indicates Rostom died on 17 Nov 1658, and Konstantini I on 22 Oct 1605.

And this belongs in another thread :D
Yes, it is the same person.

And it belongs to both threads (it depends how we take it actually). Here, we are talking about relations between Safavids and Kakheti/Georgia. In the other, it would be relations between Georgia and Safavids... ;)

Let's move to the other thread for rulers of Kakheti since you have datas for them.

#Fixes

*Rustam Khan given his birth name (Khosro Mirza) as he didn't receive title til he was Wali of Kartli-Kakheti. Adjusted startdate to when first active in war (1625) until appointment to Kartli (1633).

Code:

*Updated Gurgin Khan's deathdate, changed startdate to 1696 when he made peace with PER and served his longest period in Safavid service.

Code:
historicalleader = {

Maybe it is just me, but Khosro Mirza is now even more confusing. That comment doesn't seem to be a helpful explanation.

Birth-1633 Khosro Mirza
1633-58 Rustam Khan (Rostrom\Rostom of Kartli (GEO) and Kakheti (BAE) in monarchlist)

My pt is 'Rustam Khan' was a title received AFTER he came to the throne in Kartli. Prior to that he was known by his birthname 'Khosro Mirza'.

Hope this helps.

No, this is the correct syntax for owned condition when it applies to the country that will receive the event. -1 means tag of the country => the country that will receive the event must own the mentioned province.

Aha! So I only need to own the province to trigger the event?! Great! That really suits my campaign. I thought I was lost after the insane revolts with Jahan Shah dead, but Ismail will restore order and power to the lands!

One addition to this event. There is no conversion event for Azerbaijan and so we often see this weird situation where Ismail force converts many provinces but not his capital. :D

I think that Ismail is currently underrated. He put together an empire much larger than Babur, all before his mid-20s! While it is true that he lost quite spectacularly to Selim I, that was largely the result of a lack of fire power. I'd suggesting upping all of his values by one / also give him a siege value as he captured large swaths of territory pretty quickly. He'll still be weak in the fire phase (vis-a-vis Babur and Selim) and will also still have the sharp tech advantage against him with an Ottoman lead.

Code:
historicalleader = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0104800 }
	category = monarch
	name = "Ismail I"
	startdate = {
		year = 1500
	}
	deathdate = {
		day = 23
		month = may
		year = 1524
	}
	rank = 0
	movement = [color=red]4[/color] [color=yellow]5[/color]
	fire = [color=red]2[/color] [color=yellow]3[/color]
	shock = [color=red]4[/color] [color=yellow]5[/color]
	siege = [color=red]0[/color] [color=yellow]1[/color]
	dormant = no
	remark = "Shah"
}

As another point of reference, these changes will put Ismail on the same footing as Shaybani, whom Ismail killed.

As suggested in the turkish minors thread, here is the new sequence for AKK to become PER.

Since the reign of Usun Hasan, the Ak Koyunlu and Safavids were tied together by close family ties. Originally a religious order, under the tenure of Sheikh Junaid, the Safaviyeh order had begun to acquire temporal power. Exiled from his base of operations in Ardabil by Kara Koyunlu Jahan Shah, Junaid sought refuge in the court of Usun Hasan. As testament to their friendship and Junaid's temporal importance, Usun Hasan gave away his sister, Khadija Begum, in marriage. Likewise, Junaid's son, Haidar, would go on to marry a daughter of Usun Hasan. By the reign of Yaqub, Haidar's military and political strength had grown to such heights that Yaqub had begun to fear the power of his brother-in-law. In 1488, Haidar obtained the permission from the Shirvanshah to march through his territories to make war on the Circassians. However, Haidar turned to attack the capital of Shirvan to avenge the death of his father, Junaid, who was killed in 1460 at the behest of the Shirvanshah. The ruler of Shirvan wrote to Yaqub begging him for assistance. He warned that Haidar would not 'be satisfied with such a meagre empire' and that 'on the contrary, it will merely whet his appetite.'

Without the support of the Ak Koyunlu, Haidar was able to quickly capture Shamakhi, capital of Shirvan. As the Shirvanshah had forseen, Haidar was not content with his small kingdom and began to eye the Ak Koyunlu empire. With his own independent base of supporters and connections to the ruling Ak Koyunlu dynasty, through his mother and wife, he had a strong claim to the throne. Concerned about his nominal vassal's sudden territory gains, Yaqub summoned Haidar to meet him in Tabriz where he intended to public rebuke him for taking Shirvan. Warned of the Sultan's intentions, Haidar rallied his supporters and marched on the Sultan's caravan as it made it's way to the capital. Upon capturing Yaqub, Haidar had him blinded and deposed, citing the Sultan's indifference for warfare as unfitting for the ruler of a burgeoning empire. The next day, Haidar had the khutbah read in his name, as he stylized himself Sultan Haidar. Although not thrilled his coup d’état, the majority of Ak Koyunlu tribes were won over by his show of might. The turkmen tribes were now in the hands of the Safavids.

Code:
#(1485-1505) The Accession of the Safavids
event = {
	id =  #triggered by AKK_ or QAR_266023

Sultan Haidar made a splendid march into his capital of Tabriz. Safavid rule was off to an auspicious start.

And here is the one new monarch:
Code:
historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0104533 }
	startdate = {

		year = 1494
	}
	name = "Sultan Haidar"
	DIP = 6
	MIL = 7
	ADM = 5
	dormant = yes
}

And then a few changes to QAR to PER events. First event modified to fit in line with AKK event and the cultures that PER gets if it revolts on its own. Second event, I suggest removing as QAR doesn't really need to have that method of forming PER anymore.

Oh and yeah, make AKK one of the main countries of the 1419 scenario again.

For both Safavid Takeover events, shouldn't Azerbaijan be controlled too?

In this case, can't we extend AKK event until the beginning of 1493 (but not too much after), according to the dates of the new alternate 0104533 monarch?

Handling Safavids monarchs from AKK or QAR events won't work. You have to trigger a PER event for this (one for AKK and another for QAR).
