Why is everyone so sure that when EA publish a disappointing game it's the people "up the top" who are to blame rather than poor workmanship lower down? I think the truth is we just don't know.

As I've said since the beginning, I blame both of them for the sorry state of simcity. There were major design, vision and execution flaws with simcity, some of it obviously came from the top, most of it probably came from the developers (although probably due to restrictive time/budget constraints) and it was just a huge mess. Why is everyone so sure that when EA publish a disappointing game it's the people "up the top" who are to blame rather than poor workmanship lower down? Let then join Colossal Order!Well hope the programmers and artists find new jobs quickly enough.
Let then join Colossal Order!
Please no! Why ruin a good thing? Like I say, we don't know who messed up those games.
I would think the
- Lead Architect (person who thought glass box was a good solution for everything)
- QA team
- ceo of EA(who is now with unity3d which C:SL uses) lol...
- PR/Community manager.
EA are renown for taking successful developers and draining them of talent and innovation. Westwood, Maxis, Bioware and Bullfrog I will never buy another EA game ever again.
