It's absurd when one province (not one state, a province) of 30k POP can cost 22 infamy (Makran). Not when you're trying to eat half of Central Europe and throw off the whole balance of power -_-

The infamy system is fine for European wars, even in the times of blood and Iron, nations rarely grabbed regions from one another in Europe outright (the 'Liberation' of Alsace-Lorraine in 1870 being an obvious example, the German government got a bit of heat from the rest of Europe for it) But it makes no sense in relation to Colonial wars in Asia/ Sub Saharan Africa. I think there should be different infamy systems for civilised, uncivilised and primitive nations. For example Britain seizing Hong Kong through the first opium war was well recieved or passed little comment to most great powers in Europe at the time, due to the "opening of trade" that was spouted as the reason for it. All wars are infamous, but some are more infamous then others.....

It costs 20 infamy to conquer Makran as an uncivilized nation.

Why Paradox.

Because you're a disgusting uncivilised mob and can't claim to be bringing any civilised light to anywhere. That's why, you're probably the kind of nation that doesn't know how to use a fish fork and sets dinner with the same spoons for soup and dessert...

In all seriousness though, a 20 infamy hit is ridiculous for any nation doing just about anything. Although I still think that it should be difficult for uncivs to take territory, especially as 'savage' aggression was also used as an excuse by European powers to step in and restore order (albeit under their rule)
