With the update to the ottomans in the coming patch and a relatively recent update to the Jewish religion i think an event for sabbatai zevi is in order. Sabbatai was a an ottoman jew in the the mid 1600s that claimed to be the Jewish messiah. Ultimately he gathered the support of approximately 10% of all the jews in the world. And considering the ottoman empire was home to the plurality of those jews i think this is a character that should be included. Notably his rise led to jews leaving their jobs which could be a temporary hit to production in cities like izmir and selanika that had large jewish populations. At the his height he marched on constantinople to "humble the dragon" and the sultan refrained from executing him for fear of riling up his followers. Ultimately he received and audience with the vizier and converted to Islam thus ending the whole event. But during his rise he whipped jewish populations up into a religious fever (even becoming mobs in some cases). Furthermore you could be given events with different ways to handle this.

Hopefully this could be a fun and unique event chain for the ottoman empire.

I don't know. While this was rather important for the jewish community of 17th century, it was not a particularly important event for the Ottoman state. Generally, it's difficult to portray the history of Judaism beyond occasional expulsion and pogrom here and there, and the Sabbataian Movement was neither, really.

Thats a fair opinion. My case is that becouse his movement was so big it could be portrayed as an event chain.
For example jews walking off the job was a big problem for the empire in regions with large jewish populations like Salonika, izmir, and palestine.

I invsion a 3 part event:
Firstly and introduction saying who he is and that hes gaining popularity.

Secondly about jews walking off the job. Which would provide negative modifiers for a few provinces. This would let the player either take the hit or use force.

Thirdly sabbatai comes to constantinople. Which gives you the choice to kill or imprison him. The sultan imprisoned him for fear that killing him would result in a mob of his supporters rising up. So perhaps killing him would result in jewish rebels. Or imprisonment could lead to nothing. Or maybe he could be a unique advisor.

I think there is enough here to make a good event chain for the ottomans.

I thought Sabbatai converted to Islam because otherwise, the Sultan would have him shot.

He did convert but this was not immediate. He was arrested and imprisoned as a jew. And originally this fact was used by his followers as proof that he was the messiah. Because otherwise he would've been killed.

He later did convert in prison under threat of death. But these 2 events are somewhat separate. But that could be part of the event chain.
-choose to arrest sabbatai
-force his conversation
-he becomes an advisor
Or the alternative is
-have sabbatai killed
-a mob of jewish zealots rise up

Or something along those lines
