BB is a 'punishment' for your actions. If you declare a war without a reason at someone, someone else might come after you - and then we got "Turkish army captured a Scottish province" situations in EU2.
Even the hardesh whiners are *still* recommending that people get the game. Moreover, they keep playing themselves as after a few hours they are back with more whining posts

I don't get it. So if I need oil I just trade for it? Whatever happened to having to ship it from one place to another? How come I can receive the goods even if I am under blockade?

Just a quick note on BadBoy:
It is still in the savegame files: if you open up a savegame, each country has a BB rating. However, it's unclear whether that has any affect whatsoever within the game, or it it's relic code from EU2.

It's weird... minor countries can't seem to finish any research at all! They've got small IC, and they can't afford anything... this ain't right - EU2 had it the other way.
Think about it. 1948. German missiles are patrolling over Luxembourg, lazily gazing at the light tank prototype that has just rolled from the factory.
Paradox has implemented tech exchange but I am yet to see the AI engaging in that. Granted, I am playing on average difficulty.
Germans rock though! USSR is 2nd in land research and still I am easily taking them out with my Mice (translator's note - Mouse was a German Super Heavy tank).
USSR has falled, my research is skyrocketing... let me take that back, because I am still unable to get those rockets! What am I doing wrong? 60% of my IC are in research!
