Mongol children's portraits don't fit to this game. It looks like main designer forgot about this pictures and somebody else done it quickly before release of DLC

They didn't always look bad, but I assume you know that already.

Pre 1.07 they had a completely different portrait that looked more alive. I don't know why they changed it.

I like the painted portraits. But they be out of harmony with the game. It's a to different style

Someone could make a mod that makes all the child portraits the same until adulthood maybe. Or maybe just a picture of a cot or something, that could be as culturally different as you liked without it being bizarre how all the children look the same (and then they look totally different from different cultures).
