Russian Civil War Bug/problem

(I put this thread on the main part of the forum but I should have put it here) When the Russian Civil War starts and Germany beats Russia, if I (as Germany) ask
for a harsh peace, I gain Ukraine, Belarus etc. but the 'volunteer's Army' gain Odessa which is part of Ukraine! so this creates a weird country in a country when I puppet Ukraine. can the Voillunteer's Army just be set to not gain any areas that Germany can take?
