I have been playing as USA as liberal so many weeks and i've been so successful by conquering sapin france and england. I gave no social reforms to anybody as USA but i regret that now :) So i have been trying to recover.
So i picked up Russia in 1836 and i tried to establish the economy by the state not by capitalists. I have been very successful for 15 years. I quickly jumped no:1 endustrilized country. My taxes was around %33 and my tariffs was low. But my people wasnt satisfied. Some fixed liberal event occured and militancy of POP rised and so the plurality. And i had to change monarchy to democracy (i had to give universal suffrage). After that they always chose liberal party
My goal is establish huge amount of industry and give people huge amount social right. So i can attract foreigners and make them work for me Problem is they do not want social parties.
How i suppose to bring a social or communist government by election?
I want a government that supports full citizenship so how i make people want that? (so i can establish factories and convert POP's in conquered uncivilized countries and immigrants)
What is the correct political steps for that?
I count myself very experienced victoria player but i never pay attention to politics as i play USA so i need tips from experienced players. My current version is vitoria + revolutions v2.01. I saw some mods people talk about but i dont know what they are so i usually stick with official version of the paradox games but if you give me some advice with that i would give these mods a try.
Thank you.

As far as the game is concerned the more you industrialize the more you'll be going liberal since Craftsmen and Clerks are naturally liberal. Laborers and farmers will turn socialist and communist when the time is right i believe. I think they do if they don't have any rights when socialism and communism triggers.

It might be very hard to keep any state capitalist party in power for a long time at least untill the late ones that aren't "minor" show up for Russia.

Close down all factories and RGOs and raise taxes to 100% a little before the end of the election and the socialists should win.

No need to close rgo's or factories. Raise taxes to 100% 2 days before election ends, and all will go socialist.

Does this also work to some extend to get liberals into power?

No. At least not in the massive way you need to win an election. Instituting wealth voting should put the liberals in power though.

Another idea to make your pops socialists is to make them poor and almost starving by raising taxes and most imporantly to stop selling goods to the world market, this way you don't have to close all rgo's (lot of work with big empires) and your pops won't get income, because there's no export (make sure to still sell some things so at least your pops have more than 0% of their live-needs : ) )

thanks again for the replies. I tried to raise taxes, maximize tariffs, closed down factories, stopped exporting but i didnt get the results. first of all i started in 1836 and i did things above them there. There are socialist parties in my pool but they didnt get any votes, they get %0 . I dont understand that but liberal party got %95 and conservatives %5. So i loaded russia in 1850's and i did thing above again. communist and social parties get %12 in total. liberal partt get %45 and conservative party %35 and rebels all over the country :) i looked up POP's thoughts and its interesting what i saw. Labourers and cannot have money and they can afford %5 of their daily needs but they still want to vote for laissez faire or interventional party , so the other POP's like farmers craftmen vs. İ dont understand why this is happened maybe it is because till 1950's i governed people by socialist party by force (under the monarchy) maybe this is the reason but still i cannot understand...
Note.i didnt tried to close all RGO's because there are too many of them instead i stopped exporting...

Well historically around the liberal revolution in 1848 the groundwork for socialism was laid by Marx, Engels etc. It took until the 60's-80's for socialist parties to appear in Europe and gain a relatively big power base.

This is also modeled in-game I think, with socialism slowly gaining more support (if the pops are poor enough) until they can become really mighty in the 90's (again if they are poor enough)

So if you try to get a socialist party in the 50's you will have a really hard time.
I noticed that especially craftsmen can become socialists in this period (they
are naturally liberal in this period) and other normally conservative pops mostly become liberal.. So the best solution might be to try to get a lot of craftsmen.

Also make sure you have suffrage voting.. Also choosing establishment in the state&government tech might help if a lot of pops have a free-trade issue.
If you have populism make sure to convert every single clergymen into another pop, this will reduce the amount of pops with the moralism issue (bad, because socialist parties mostly have secularized or atheist) and sometimes increases the secularized issue in your population ; )

Ill try that ill start in 1836, ill establish some strong industrial base and ill turn into liberal in liberal revolution with universal suffrage lets see if i can bring social or communist parties in charge later.
My question is about minority issues, how i make people want the full citizenship? Not all of social parties support that idea?
İs that anyway make people support that?
My theory is establishing hard industrialized areas with my people working in it and conquering not industrialized but populated countries like China (i'm playing Russia) and make Chinese people want same right so they want full citizenship and vote for that in universal suffrage. Is that correct?

Election events. If you want to rush it along, keep having elections and every time the event about citizenship comes up pick the Full Citizenship choice.

Be warned though, in the early game you're more likely to get Anarco-Liberals into power than Socialists (let alone Communists). That and allowing the more "radical" parties to take power causes your government to become a Presidential Dictatorship or Proletarian Dictatorship, with an accompanying massive loss of Prestige (-300).

But dont do elections too often either. Everytime a party is selected, the pop, that didnt vote for that, gets +1 MIL at 0% Plurality, so be careful in your early game.
When you do get your kind of goverment in place, tech rush State & Goverment to get a boost to do specific kind of ideology.

This seems like a whole lot of work & trouble, just to try to piss off all your people & get them excited & politically volatile. I find MIL = 0, and CON = 0 for the masses is far superior to voting rights, healthcare, pro-choice movement, etc. I think you are playing Russia incorrectly.
