Russia is not a part of War of Religious League, although I had picked previously

I am currently playing as Russia and I didn't become a part of the War of Religious League when it started. I picked the Catholic side when the leagues were first formed. Normally, I should have been an ally of HRE's emperor during this war, but I m not part of it.

Is this some of a bug? Or is it intentional? I am attaching 2 screenshots down below

Edit: in the 2nd screenshot (my diplomacy screen), I should have been indicated that I am at the war. But I am

I think its a bug, did you join the league as moscovy and then formed russia, while still in the league?

Did the protestant leader declare while you were at war with England? From what I can gather from the screenshots, you were recently at war with them and you are both part of the catholic league. I'm not sure how the game handles it exactly, but at the very least one of you shouldn't be able to join due to you already being at war with each other; my guess would be that you then both can't join, which would make it, admittedly, a good time for the protestant leader to declare.

When the war declaration happened, were you at war with anyone of the ennemy side ? You can't join two wars agains't the same country so thta might be why you didn't get a call to arms.

I formed Russia way before the War of Religious League (even before the Evangelic Leagues started to be formed). So, the Muscovy --> Russia transition is out of possibilities

I was at the war against alliance that included Lithuania and England, which were also the members of Catholic League (when the Religious War broke out). Probably this is why I wasn't included in the war
